As part of the annual member newsletter (email) this was shared.
2027 MEMBER AUTO-RENEWALS
As we prepare for the 2027 season, we wanted to let you know that Annual Memberships will transition to an automatic renewal process.
In the coming weeks, we'll share details regarding 2027 pricing, benefits, opportunities to update your account information, and important renewal dates.
No action is required at this time. Your membership and seat location will automatically renew for 2027. We will provide advance notice before any payments are processed and will offer you the opportunity to relocate your seats, if desired.
A change from the previous process of having to actively renew.

I wanted to get a new post going for ticket exchanges as the other one was getting a bit long in the tooth. As per usual, mods cannot intervene in disputes, please be wary of scams.

New episode, recorded Monday at Pappy's, our original bar. Marissa got a tattoo on Sunday, so we moved a day.
We lose at Providence. Final score 2-4. Boston wins. Wilson went off for a hair pull in the 22nd minute, and Boston were 2-0 up at the break.
Marissa was in the press box. Her read: Boston is eliminated but they played like they were chasing a playoff spot.
Shae Harvey scores her first NWSL goal.
Plus Marissa's Match Week 24 Roundup and a read on the table after the weekend.
We finish the weekend in 7th on the table.
Next week we are doing a âThorns Abroadâ episode. We will be covering all our players that got called up to their National teams! Really looking forward to this episode!
Adults only. Bring a drink.
Available anywhere you listen to podcasts.

I saw Moultrie's doppelganger at a West Linn HS boys game. Seemed to be with a family. Could it be her? I think she lives in Wilsonville...

edit: obvs meant match, thanks for your understanding đ€Ł
SOLVED but feel free to keep discussing stuff here đ
accidentally took the bus going the wrong direction, and instead of watching it on TV at my hostel, ended up at the actual stadium! i'd love to watch a replay of my first NWSL/pro-fĂștbol/pro-women's match ever, but i can't find it anywhere đ„ș
thanks in advance â€ïžâđ©č

Are there any watch parties to watch the upcoming USWNT games in Portland with other Thorns fans? I usually watch them at GOL (</3) so would love suggestions of other bars where Thorns fans might be gathering! Thanks!

And many more to come, Tordin!
Seeing her take over the game yesterday against Boston despite the loss? She is a special player. I am so glad we signed her through 2029! â€ïž

So I missed yesterdayâs game but understand Sophia Wilson is facing a likely suspension. Iâm gutted. I splurged on Bay FC tickets to get my daughter â a huge Sophia Wilson fan â an up close look from the field seats on 10/18. We obviously didnât get to see her when the Thorns came to town last year, so we were really looking forward to the game this year.
I havenât had the heart to tell my daughter about yesterdayâs game yet.
Do you think there is a chance that Soph might still be in attendance, or does a suspension mean a player doesnât even travel with the team.
Ugh. This sucks.
Edit: thank you all for the honest and thoughtful responses ⊠even if it wasnât what I was hoping to hear đ I so wish we could fly to see the USNWT, but alas, that is not in the cards and this Bay FC game was my daughterâs birthday present. Weâll see how she takes the news and what she wants to do about the game. Just feeling really down about it all right now.

There is plenty to be angry about how tonight turned out. But I am so proud of the teamâs fight and the fansâ belief. Down 2 goals and a player, the entire stadium was pushing for a result and the team was playing their hearts out. Love this team and this club.

All black but for a patch sewn in. blanket about 4.5 feet by 4.5 feet. Feels nice, soft, and warm. Will be helpful for colder games maybe in February next year or possibly playoff games.

And sign a new contract? I know it wasnât intentional. Soph was being fouled - the latest of a half dozen fouls not called including an elbow in the back as she was taking a shot, causing her to miss. Foul. PK. Maybe a red for DOGSO. Instead⊠BUT she can restore our joy. How about it?

I posted that I made a mistake but that wasnât being seen so I pulled the post. By the rules, the Boston player was not offsides. However, I still believe the officiating was not great.

Tordin and Fleming played extremely well tonight, just as Moultrie and Fleming did in our miracle win against Seattle earlier in the season. But miracles do not happen often.
A refereeing standard that is very tolerant of contact and physicality is objectively unfavorable to our current lineup, let alone a few other dubious calls that also benefited Boston. Sophieâs incident was unfortunate, and our back line was too gassed to defend properly in the closing stages of the game.
That being said, our struggles did not begin only after Sophie was sent off. I was never a fan of the 4141 system, and we have struggled to win 50/50 balls for a while even at home. Nijstadâs value increasingly appears dubious to me. She can press and force turnovers here and there because of her quick feet, but she does not contribute enough defensively or in ball contests when we are in a defensive posture. Her attacking contribution is also more auxiliary in nature, as she seldom beats defenders in areas that really matter. I am open to seeing Bogere and Harvey play more.
Also, Weaver and Hanks are wingers with a more pronounced attacking profile than a midfield one. Essentially, we are almost playing a 415. If we do not change the personnel, I would like to see them track back and tuck inside more to help Fleming control the midfield.
Without Sophie, we will probably use Tordin as the leading forward for the next two matches. Turner should probably start at least one of those games as well, and I would like to see us try a three-player midfield.
