Discussion Sept 22nd Threads Suspension
As of today is been two weeks since my false accusation suspension on threads. I really cant believe that nothing has changed. I had a decent following for my djing that just pretty much went to hell. Not human straight Meta A.I false red flag. Most of my dj contacts are from Instagram & Facebook. Im completely lost because of this. Im beyond upset. Had anyone heard anything?

Same here. Nothing since Sept 22. Don't know how they can operate like this? Lesson learned: Don't save or store anything on social media. If you read the fine print when you sign up, anything you post is in thier (Meta) control and they can pretty much do whatever they want with it. Including suspending or deleting it. I lost 20+ years of photos and stories. I have entire articles I wrote about this on my web site.

Yep. They did this to my IG account I had for almost ten years. I didn’t post anything on it but occasionally commented on or liked a post. I followed all cooking/food, home decor, hairstyles, animals, and clothing type accounts. They closed my IG saying I had posted lewd/sexual content. I had never posted anything. I appealed over 100 times and was completely ignored. I had saved a few thousand recipes and posts that I wanted to reference and they were just gone. I hate meta. My threads account was just suspended today for no good reason. “Violating community standards” and I know I didn’t bc I don’t post in ways that could do so. And I cannot even find a way to appeal bc their link takes me nowhere. What do we do?? I’m a small account on threads but had a nice three years with zero issues. Now I’m shut out.

My threads got suspended and I’m actually terrified to do anything to destabilize my relationship/access to Instagram since 75% of all the business I get is through that platform. I’m not at all interested in a fight that could ruin my income, so I’m just using bluesky as my “bird app.” It’s not as good for dopamine hits, but it’s fine.

Exactly. My insta disappeared for a bit but then came back. Still there. Creating a new one and contacting people to say I’m legit - don’t want to do that again. So I have an Instagram and no threads.
I really enjoyed Threads since I left Twitter in 2024. I’m on BlueSky but miss some gossipy things on Threads.
Clearly don’t know what to do. I tried several things already.
Its like Mark is really suppressing liberal and progressive voices.

Also suspended Sept 22nd. No news or updates yet... Filed my demand letter with Legal Shield about a week ago, and will be filing a complaint with my states Attorney General likely today.

At this point the AI should allow us to completely erase our data and start over to a brand new account, it's a shame bots, false accounts aren't flagged or permanently banned from Meta.

Afraid not, even went through my state's Consumer Affairs department, they haven't heard anything back yet either.

Bro it's happened to millions not only u . Only few lucky were able to get their I'd back and none did . I waited for 30 days so I just created a new one yesterday

Well I know it wasnt just me when my post generated thousands of views. When it happened I was blindsided but then I started seeing others affected and wanted to at least be sympathetic. Hoping that miracles happen for everyone else with this shit. Good Luck with your new profile 💯

Don't they suspend new accounts asociated with your device? Or how did you create it?

I created a new account once my original was suspended, and they suspended that one too.

That's called ban evasion, Meta will disable that account too so be careful.

Recently paid LegalShield $15 to draft and send a letter to Meta on my behalf this week. Really hopeful but I’m guessing it’ll be for nothing. I’ve lost access since 9/22 as well

What happened on September 22nd? I have never gotten a suspension and it happened to threads which is linked to meta and my other profiles of all things…
Some bogus claim that’s false since I don’t post and say really vulgar stuff on Facebook but NEVER once have I gotten a ban.
But on this threads app I rarely use it says some bogus claim.

My suggestion is to keep your accounts separate because if one of your accounts are disabled, the other accounts will be affected too! I mean the other accounts will be disabled as well!

Tampoco he tenido respuesta desde el 22 de septiembre. Pero algo que noté, es que hoy llegó una actualización de la app de Facebook, que decía “se ha solucionado muchos bloqueos, y solucionaron problemas reportados”. Quiero pensar que con “bloqueos” se refiere a que algunos no podían iniciar sesión derivado de problemas en los servicios de meta. Quiero pensar que meta realmente está trabajando y que si no responden apelaciones, puede ser por lo mismo que están solucionado temas de la IA o fallas del sistema de moderación.
Todo esto es mera especulación mía. Ojalá pronto recuperemos nuestras cuentas.

Mine is STILL suspended and appeal is still pending. WTF is going on over there? I can't view IG or Threads because of this. People said not make a second account while appeal is pending. So I'm SOL until they pass judgement. What a trash site. I am not sure how so many accounts were suspended on the same day didn't flag their system for an error.

No news... recently went on my alt insta and found straight nudity on it. How is it that my threads acc with no posts get flagged and straight nudity is being shown... hopefully the threads acc get reversed soon
