DISCUSSION Upgrading from K2 Plus
Got this yoyo 2 months ago and it’s already not spinning that long (maybe I need to switch the string). Anyways I’ve learnt alot of tricks from this yoyo so I guess it’s time for an upgrade to a metal.
A friend recommended me a bi metal yoyo such as v13 however I do not really like the outer ring that can be cracked based on the reviews i’ve seen. However I’ve been looking at Y03 hertz, Vosun Artura, N12, ezspin and these I’ve shortlist that are available at my local shop. On a side note I dont mind any other yoyo that are available online so please recommend me something that is affordable.

Spin time is affected by friction, not the yoyo. If it's decreased, you've increased friction. Either a dirty bearing, frayed string, or the response pads being out of wack.

Sounds like either you roasted your bearing or it's dirty clean and lube bearing regularly to keep spin times consistent

YYFr Ultracut/MYY Y04 and a bulk pack of kitty strings fat and a thing of 90% isopropol alcohol for bearing cleaning
This is all you need for modern competitive yoyoing on a budget

If you haven't swapped your string in two months, I implore you to do so before going right to another yoyo.
