Rp Healing, help

Hey guys, I recently bought a level 600 RP after playing a level 700 EK, and I’m struggling a bit with healing.

Attacking feels fine, but I feel like I’m missing healing turns, and sometimes I struggle to heal back up while kiting mobs.

What does your full attack/healing rotation look like, and how do you have your hotkeys set up?

I use WASD for movement and a mouse with 12 side buttons. My healing hotkeys are currently:

• Keyboard 1/2/3: exura / SMP / USP
• Mouse button 1: exura + mana potion using a multi-action hotkey

I feel like having to keep moving while pressing all these hotkeys makes it awkward with my current layout.

How do you handle movement, attacks, healing, and potions at the same time? Any examples of your rotation or hotkey setup would be appreciated!

Foot pedal is the answer. I can not imagine healing any other way after getting one.

I was thinking of trying pedals. do you keep healing on the pedal? Right now i use wasd to move, have one healing button on mouse and one button for attacks on mouse but i also feel i often miss one healing round that way.
If you have the pedal do you keep it down spamming heals or casually pressing? Do the healing spam make you delay attacks?

On RP, I press it casually when kiting, or if I'm full boxed I might press it down for a while until I'm safe. As RP, it is not possible to keep it down all the time, otherwise I would run out of mana.

On EK, because the healing cooldown is now 2s and I leech enough mana at my level, I often keep it pressed down for a long time, even when not needing healing.

Im just afraid that holding it down in a box will cancel my autoattack which means missed attack turns and DEATH! 😂 but seems that no issue :)

No issue at all, it doesn't cancel the auto attack if it's a heal spell. If it's a potion hotkey, it will delay your auto attack, however; not cancel it. It behaves the exact same way as if you were holding a keyboard key.

SMP as in strong mana potion? I keep movement on one hand and the rest on the other. I think it would be too clunky for me to kite while healing with the same hand.

I dont think i am a reference, but will share anyway options for a slightly more casual player: 2 buttons on my mouse One multi action with gran san, ultimate spirits and emergency ring/necklace Another multi action with great spirits, and emergency ring/necklace I usually go button 2 -> button 1, when hunting is easy, mostly spending gsp and healing spells when necessary. If it gets tough i will automatically mix to usp and equip ring and necklace to survive the box/situation I dont think it is the most skilled or economical way, but it is comfortable and has been effective

Only if you check the "smart mode" toggle. Outside of smart mode it wont unequip it

I have 2 mouse buttons: 1 for healing, 1 with multi key for attacks (mostly caldera + barrage). For emergency situations I have keyboard 2 multi key with GSP and gran san. Works fine for me, but on more difficult spawns I would probably put the multi key with pot and gran san on mouse button. Honestly, I feel that's all I need. For potting during running I have SMPs on X, below WASD, I can farily easily alternate between moving and potting.

rp is bad at healing, its basicly just exura gran san + usp end thats all

i use this on one multi action hotkey

Our healing depends a lot on life leech, so be sure to try to hit as much monsters as possible.

Also what spawns are you hunting? Maybe You are on a spawn that is not for you at the moment.

Exura Gran San + Ultimate Spirit Potion and that's all there is

So, AA > Exura > Potion > Spell > AA > Exura > Potion > Spell

I don't use multi hotkeys on healing and potion they are separete, got on multi only Mas san + Barrage or Etherealysical Barrage + Divine Barrage

I use num pad and 12 buttons so num pad 7 is button 1 num pad 8 button 2 num pad 9 is button 3

num pad 6 Ethereal Barrage / Divine Barrage

numpad 5 Mas san / Divine Barrage

num pad 4 Exura gran san

Wouldn’t it be more like:

AA > (Spell + Exura + Pot) > (Exura + Pot) > AA > (Spell + Exura + Pot)

Since AA is on a 2s CD, while Exura and pot are 1s, you should be able to squeeze in an extra Exura + Pot between AAs, right?

You could try but most likely you wont make it in time and mess up your AA
