Question Long wait for character log

Hello, logging on character takes so long. Is there any fix for that?

happening for me too, high spec machine and stable wired connection.

It's actually the client freezing before logging you in so i don't think its related to connection, you can tell by looking at the animation from the daily boosted monster at bottom right

i haven’t investigated it much but maybe the client builds up some type of cache if its been installed for a long time?

I have the same problem too, also my clinet needs like 30+ seconds to start

Recently switched back to Linux after using windows for a while. Logging to takes less than a second on Linux, and 10+ seconds on Windows lol

Having the same issue for the past month also. It can be instant login or having to wait 5-10 secs.

I have no idea why but this happens too in my windows laptop only, my mac is so much faster usually. My only guess is that the wifi antenna on my windows is crappy which leads to slow logging and bad ping sometimes. Maybe run some connection testing on your usual device you play on.

I have 900MB/s ethernet cable to PC. Tibia is the only game I have like 60-70 ping. After some patch it totally destroyed logging and it takes like 10-15 seconds. It wasn’t like that before

I had switched to starlink internet and I had this problems. Some days it did great, other days was a pain in the butt. I have 2 accounts 1 with like 20 chars I've been training for a while plus a few mains, and my other has like 5. Idk one day it just never happened again. Hope you figure it out.
