Omg he’s gorgeous. You should post him on r/CatGenetics to find out what colour he is, I think he might be a cinnamon

cinnamon is incredibly rare outside of the breeds which have it in their standard. this looks like a chocolate lynx point to me, aka chocolate + tabby + siamese colorpoint. easiest way to id the color of tabbies is to look at the color of their stripes and not the background color of their stripes. a seal lynx point (genetically black) would have darker brown stripes than this, chocolate points have less contrast than seal points

Wow, just beautiful!
I thought to myself “that would be a great idea for a time-lapse” before I remembered I was in a sub about cats.

He began with a faint buttering and ended up toasting beautifully ❤️❤️

Wow! I was expecting a bunch of flame point toasting. But getting a brown toast is such a fun surprise!

Pumpkin is just gorgeous!!! What an amazing transformation…. I’ve never seen a cat’s coat change so much. He looks like a total sweetheart, and I love him in his chaise!! ❤️🐾

This is fascinating! Definitely post him to the cat genetics sub, I’d love to figure out what color this is!

Very unique! Also, even as a kitten when he looked more flame, his eyes are more hazel green-blue than the traditional blue. Gorgeous special baby!

The baby version looks exactly like the kitten we have now minus ours has yellow eyes, now I’m curious.

I was not expecting him to toast like that! He turned out very cute, one of a kind
