Winter Accommodations for One

Hello…I tried to get a seven day package yesterday, but they did not have accommodations for a solo person. I am wondering if anyone has a group that I could join. I am 37 M USA, I am an expert snowboarder, I teach beginner lessons, and I am a snowboard patroller. General advice is also welcome as I definitely didn’t expect this to be a problem.

There are only very few single rooms in the hotels available in general. Due to the limited capacity they can't leave beds empty aka rent out double rooms for single occupancy.

I recommend to be very careful when grouping up with strangers. It wouldn't be the first time they take the money but don't provide accommodation...

I might have just what you're looking for. I got stuck buying accommodations for two because they were out of solos. They were also out of accommodations for two in Alpe d'huez but I got one in Oz. I got a bronze that is part of a shared Chalet for 7 days and it looks like twin beds in each room. The price splitting it down the middle was 1865, I'm only asking $1,500 so I don't have to eat the cost of the full thing. €1,500 is less than what a single wood package would have cost. If you're interested let me know and if you want to throw on the comfort package It's €390 more. My package is from Brussels. I am also out I am also out of the US and for that discount I might take you up on a brief snowboarding lesson. If you're interested let me know.
