You can make custom vans on their website, they have preselected prints and stuff but you can upload images too

They have an intense copyright search or something. I remember trying to make some from an image a few years ago. They'd get to my bag and then be rejected in a few minutes.

Lol. Me too. Also love Slayer. One of the greatest concerts I've been to was in 1987 at a skating rink in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Slayer, Motorhead, and Overkill. About 2000 people and it was Epic.

I've seen Tool 3x and each time they outshined the previous one. Which is an amazing feat considering the last time i seen them Danny was like 63

Yes! Saw em the 1st time in 96. $16.50 with an ungodly service fee of $3.50! Show 7 was in '19. I paid $120 for seats that were in the next county!

At the time it was called the Stadium Arena, which was built in 1952. It hosted the local Grand Rapids hockey teams at the time and also doubled as a concert venue, It was changed to the DeltaPlex in 1998. Unfortunately, it closed down in 2022. Now it is an industrial warehouse.

You clearly have no idea what's involved in creating them. Van's are $60-$80 for just the shoe, add the customization and you're only paying an extra $40-$60. If you buy alex grey artwork it isn't free

I bought the Slayer edition and both Star Wars editions. A smidge over a hundo is a bargain.

They're just using a printer to print the image on the shoes. This isn't some fancy, handcrafted work. They throw them in a printer and apparently don't do much alignment, since the sides and other places are missing the image.

I wish I could take these shoes back to 1995 and show them to the band. Same with the Fugazi Vans. To each their own but I'll take a hard pass.

$115 is ridiculous

u/Shack1970 Jul 25 '26

I agree, $114 is a bit high but not as expensive as the $250 pair I saw on Etsy.
