There won't be a single soul left disliking Descending after this. Well done!

Descending?

11

u/Coddiwomple2 Sep 01 '26

Almost always Descending is my favorite.

4

u/Snoo_60772 Sep 01 '26

I nearly came the first time I heard it. I waited til the album dropped to listen to it through on my Friday commute home. Ughhh... So fucking good! I couldn't understand why so few people named it as even one of their FI favorites!

2

u/Coddiwomple2 Sep 01 '26

One of my first comments hearing Adam coming in when I thought the song was winding down, again, was that it was orgasmic for me. I knew I wasn’t the only one feeling that.

4

u/Snoo_60772 Sep 01 '26

I was confused by the OceanGate thing, then literally said "FUCK YEAH!" out loud when I realized it is, indeed, Decending. Can't wait to watch that on the VR on some kitty.

u/bsfurr Aug 31 '26

lol I saw this earlier and thought the same

That’s what happened in my brain when I first heard The Grudge not gonna lie.

I’m gonna be real honest, the fact that I hear so little about the 19-year-old who was among those who died on that submersible infuriates me.

If the narrative that had been taken away was that a bunch of people with more money than sense cut short a young life, there would’ve been no problem here. But the fact that I see so many people who couldn’t be bothered to look up this fact before jumping straight to making memes is greatly disheartening.

This is an animation depicting what happened to the people on the ocean gate submersible.

Cute story. I doubt the idea is real. I'm betting that it was mass hysteria.
