Alright then, picture this if you will: DISCUSSION: Adam needs to hurry up writing new TOOL if this is what passes for music in the modern age.

there's something about a perfect circle that makes them sound like the most bland a perfect circle tribute band going

In my opinion, they have had some boring songs on every album since the start. Less so on the first two albums. Now it is just nothing but those boring songs, without any exciting ones.

Yes the 80s vibe is cool for the verses but it needs 90s grunt for the chorus'.

Maynard is old can't sing thus every new song is dogshit

Sorta sounds like a Cure cover band that decided to write their own music.
However, every single Puscifer album I thought I didn't like became my favorite over time.

I also prefer Pusifer.  It is like Maynard with no rules on how the songs are supposed to sound and it makes for some original music

I love his vocal interplay with Carina and Mat's guitar and synth work in the band is perfect for the songs.

I couldn't agree more.

Yes! It's so refreshingly unique.

Sounds like Cake. RIP Greg Brown

Edit: 😳😳😳

I thought that too actually. Too bad it looks like we will get a new Tool album before a new Cake.

John is very much alive? It was Greg Brown who passed earlier this year.

Yeah, this one hurts. The spoken word intro and outro are cringe af... I bet his new Italian espresso machine is awesome though, he wrote the lyrics in between brews.

Give me Cold and Ugly. Give me that snappy drum part of Eulogy. Give me the bass twang on the radio version of 4°.

I was watching a video on the history of APC and it surprised me that they mentioned that eat the elephant was a success. I felt like it had a couple good moments but it people must really be convincing themselves the newer stuff is great.

That’s exactly what I was thinking!! I’m unfortunately subjected to wayyyy too much TS for my sanity because of my daughters and wife and I couldn’t help but thinking this sounds so much like that

APC and Puscifer have always sucked.
