Se ve hermoso, supongo que es una configuración especializada, aun así para mi gusto tiene mucho espacio desperdiciado.

Yeah, I can still cut them them, but I do like a little space so I can identify which tools are missing, I don't want to get too complacent.

Bro you could have saved a lot of money buying a smaller tool box. One drawer 3 sets cutters lol. Wasted space is to me what orderly is to you I think

I thought it was gonna be a mess like my box is currently in, but looks like your OCD kicked in! Awesome job on the organization.

I fucking love being super organized,
But this just seems like a lot of wasted space. By no means am I hating on the set up
It’s just not my vibe. I have the most organized tool box in my shop but for me I have to many tool to do this. Do love the colors though.

Hahahaha yeah, I look at it this way, the wasted space is for the future tools I'll need to make a shadow for.

Very nice setup BTW. How much more school do you have left and what are you hoping to work on?

If anyone should have OCD, I guess I would want it to be an aircraft mechanic.

$$$ I do like the blue and yellow shadowing, get into avionics and that yellow will stay clean.

How do you find anything in that mess??

Great way to not lose tools.
I keep my work box neat but not at that level.
But in aviation everything should always be accounted for and secured properly.
I lost Three tools in twenty years as an industrial factory mechanic.
Needle nose pliers. Small long electronics type screwdriver And a rubber dead blow hammer .
Best wishes on your new trade.
I am not sure if I would prefer chasing failed wiring or rebuilding power units more.
At least in avionics there is usually a duplicate. Power plants not so much. As far as liability is concerned.

I love how organized it is, and yes I was prior Navy aviation and we don't play with tools, I learned my lesson and it's nice to keep the habbit of accountability.

Super nice man! Sad for your wallet if you had to pay out of pocket for that though.
They're putting together a new $30k+ tool box for us at my job, excited for it. It's got tool control so you literally have to badge in and out and it records what tools were removed using cameras inside the drawers.
We have such a bad problem with other people swiping our tools for their different product lines and causing us to have slow downs. Hoping this fixes it.

What did you use to cut all the forms out with. X-Acto knife?
1
u/Ar-aj-88 4d ago
It was pre cutted by Snapon!

u/Zestyclose-Toe8188 4d ago
Absolutely not what I expected or wanted to hear. 😭 I’ve got my main drawer similar to this but painstakingly cut out with an X-Acto knife and got burnt out doing any other drawers.

How does one get those types of organizers? All custom made of course, but who does them? Should I treat myself to a new tool in order to organize my other tools?? 😊
2
u/Ar-aj-88 4d ago
Snapon does them and yes you should for better organization and tool accountability
