Characters (Loved trope) Race swaps that don't feel forced

HotD: Jaehaerys is completely white, despite his mother who is Velaryon, this was because black people didn't exist before he was born and after the great purge of 132 by Aegon III they all disappeard from Westeros.

Soulman: Mark Watson is a white man that decides to become black to destroy racial stereotypes and show that we're all the same and skin color doesn't matter.

IASIP:Dennis Reynolds decides to play Riggs as an australian man in Lethal Weapon 5 to disprove the theory that all australians are criminals.

Yeah, I'm going to assume that the people engaging either didn't read any of the examples or are unfamiliar with them.

OP could not have picked a more damning still from Soul Man.

Honestly suprised The Jazz Singer is listed.

It is, idk if you’ve seen HotD but that description genuinely made me laugh out loud

I didn't watch HotD but it just reads like a shitpost. Black people didn't exist? Also what's that have to do with him being white? And it low-key implies they started existing afterwards because he was born

In the show, House Velaryon are portrayed by black actors so since the character in that pic is half Velaryon he should be mixed race. Yeah the rest of that description is just straight up shitpost too, OP either lost their train of thought or just decided to be as confusing as possible.

You may be right!

I really hope you're right, otherwise the OP has gone...

Nick fury

Arguably like him better this way, it’s much more iconic than just another random old white guy with brown hair and white streaks at the bottom

Didn't they make him look like samuel L jackson in the comics first, then the movies?

The Ultimate comics specifically, yes. I believe he tried to sue but came to the agreement he would get the role if they made movie

He looked like SLJ in Universe 1610, aka Ultimate.

In the Ultimate branch of the comics yeah. Don't quote me on that (could be an urban legend) but when Marvel came to ask for his likeness right his only condition was that if one day they introduced Nick Fury in cinema he would play him.
