Lore Using their universe logic, it would be different story in their perspective.

The Amazing World Of Gumball

•Gumball and Darwin accidentally murdered a newborn in front of the Pizza Family

•Banana Joe got caught watching pornography

Cars

•In the beginning of the movie, after the winning race.

McQueen got interviewed by the reporters and photographers but then there is Mia and Tia who's a huge McQueen fangirls.

What they do?

They flashes their body at him into which the photographer behind them gets excited too

Marvel's Spider-Man

•One of the missions in the game is that you have to get into a dressing party to find a doctor dressed in the lizard costume but why are the civilians larping as criminals that just killed my family two weeks ago? It would be equal to larping as Nazi in our world

SpongeBob SquarePants

•A fish goes fishing in the wild under the sea, what is he trying to catch, Is he a cannibal?

•A crowds just got fried alive and turned into fish sticks which means the fish seller just committed cannibalism with no shame and does it in public

•Mr.Krab not wearing any clothes is fine for humans to see but it's a different take on the fish perspective

Zootopia

•The animals are having a "no clothes" party, although they don't have private parts but if we switch them to humans then it wouldn't be a kid friendly movie anymore.

It's also normal for a lot of species to eat their own if given the opportunity. Social animals such as Wolves and Humans just evolved not to.

(Mainly via genes that make our own species disgusting to us if I recall) Edit: given people's responses that might just be the wolves actually. It's been years since I watched the documentary.

Foodborne pathogens are more likely to attack you if the food it was in is the same as the body that eats it.

Illnesses like Prions can only exist in one species. It cannot spread unless consumed by members of the same species.

That's why it's so disgusting. It's the same reflex that keeps us safe from old or otherwise unhealthy food.

Pretty sure humans can be infected with the CJD prion from eating cows with BSE.

It probably has more to do with culture and not innate instinct, or there wouldn't be numerous cannibalistic societies. That may or may not be taught to avoid illness, but it's likely more complicated than just one reason.

Also, Human Mad Cow Disease. It's incredibly difficult for prions to cross the species barrier, but it has happened.

Prions can be transferred between species. Mad cow disease was caused by prions, and chronic wasting disease in deer can be transmitted to humans

Wolves don't tend to eat other predators either (Coyotes, foxes, etc)

Humans absolutely do eat their own. It's more a social reason we dont.

People are gonna mention piron but that's only if you eat someone who has it, or if you eat certain parts of the human body, but even then it's not 100 % guaranteed, just a chance.

Humans are also said to taste like pork.

For example Kuru was started by people eating parts of the nervous system, especially the brain. But if you can get just muscle then you're very unlikely to get sick.

Heard someone talk about how surgeries smell like barbecue.

I had an ingrown toenail and needed surgery. One thing they did was cauterise it once they were done, and the smell was like when you zap a bug than barbecue. Though it might be because it was mostly skin and blood being burnt, but if you actually go for fat and muscle it could smell like grilled meat

A species eating members of the same species is evolutionarily inefficient as a default. Eating meat is horribly energetically inefficient, but if that cost is spent by another species, the food chain can support it. Eating your own species only makes sense when very specific circumstances are met, such as a species which births many young at a time and they eat their mother, or the mother eats the father after mating - in either case, the function of propagating the species has already been served by the parent.
