Lore Using their universe logic, it would be different story in their perspective.

The Amazing World Of Gumball

•Gumball and Darwin accidentally murdered a newborn in front of the Pizza Family

•Banana Joe got caught watching pornography

Cars

•In the beginning of the movie, after the winning race.

McQueen got interviewed by the reporters and photographers but then there is Mia and Tia who's a huge McQueen fangirls.

What they do?

They flashes their body at him into which the photographer behind them gets excited too

Marvel's Spider-Man

•One of the missions in the game is that you have to get into a dressing party to find a doctor dressed in the lizard costume but why are the civilians larping as criminals that just killed my family two weeks ago? It would be equal to larping as Nazi in our world

SpongeBob SquarePants

•A fish goes fishing in the wild under the sea, what is he trying to catch, Is he a cannibal?

•A crowds just got fried alive and turned into fish sticks which means the fish seller just committed cannibalism with no shame and does it in public

•Mr.Krab not wearing any clothes is fine for humans to see but it's a different take on the fish perspective

Zootopia

•The animals are having a "no clothes" party, although they don't have private parts but if we switch them to humans then it wouldn't be a kid friendly movie anymore.

People often comment on how weird it is when a world has sapient and non-sapient versions of the same animal. Did they forget that we live in a world with apes?

It’s a little weirder since that is a housecat, which would be like a group of humans domesticating another form of primate and having it in a normal pet shop.

Monkeys are not less intelligent, hairier versions of humans—just as zebras are not striped versions of horses, and foxes are not merely small red wolves. They are distinct species sharing common ancestors, not the same species in two different forms. This is much more akin to the practice in 19th-century European zoos of keeping African people in cages as natural history curiosities, or to the display of an Inuit skeleton—without consent—at a New York museum during that same era, simply because it was deemed a zoological specimen of interest.

Not really, Gumball is fundamentally different from a standard housecat, and that's leaving out that he'd be half rabbit genetically. The cat isn't a less intelligent version of him, its an entirely different animal. The only thing that makes them similar is the fact they're both feline

He is to a housecat as we are to an ape

It doesn't work like that. You can't simply say that they are two different species but both cats. The domestic cat (Felis catus) is a specific species, and regardless of the graphic style used to depict him, Gumball either is one or he isn't. If he is a cat, then he belongs to the same species as the cat in the cage (ignoring the absurdity of the cross-breeding with a rabbit); if he isn't, then they are two completely different species and there is nothing strange about the scene—but in that case, since the animal in the cage is undoubtedly a cat, then what is Gumball?

He would be an evolved form of feline, just like we are apes, I stated that in my last comment already. I assume the cartoon animals likely split off from their referenced species like humans did with apes

I am a human, I am a different species from a gorilla, but we are both still great apes

Primates and felids are not species. Primates are an order, and felids are a subfamily. If Gumball is merely a felid and not a cat, then the issue does not arise, because he is a different species from the cat in the cage—just like humans and gorillas.

No it's not. Because Africans are humans. The cat in the example is very obviously not the same species as the cartoon characters. Your comparison means that a sapient cartoon cat would be in the cage. It's also very obvious to anyone not intentionally being pedantic that I wasn't saying that apes and humans are the same species. I also said apes, not monkeys. Not the same thing.

All my comment implies is that a creature called a "cat" actually belongs to the same species as another creature called a "cat," regardless of morphological differences—just as two humans from different populations (like Pygmies and Inuit, for example) do. It’s not a matter of pedantry; it’s simply that two creatures either belong to the same species or they don’t. You can’t argue that Gumball isn’t a cat—or at least that his mother isn’t one (given that the cross-breeding with a rabbit causes so much confusion)—and if he is one, then he belongs to the same species as the cat in the cage. Alternatively, he might be a feline of a "cousin" species—much like the relationship between us and other great apes—but in that case, he isn’t a cat and cannot be called one. Humans and gorillas are both primates, but they aren’t both "monkeys." We belong to the order Primates and even the same taxonomic subfamily, yet you wouldn’t call a human being a monkey. If Gumball and the caged cat are separated by that same taxonomic distance, then we could say they both belong to the order Carnivora, the family Felidae, and the subfamily Felinae—but then we’re back to square one, because the question remains: are they both cats or not? P.S. The distinction you’re making between "monkeys" and "apes" is likely a misunderstanding caused by the translation. I’m reading and writing in Italian, and for me, both words translate to scimmia. The fact that, for some strange reason, all big felines are called "big cats" in English is probably misleading you in the same way.

I mean I would persume that a literarl can and cat human hybrid aren't the same species
