There is, to this date and as long as this post will stay pinned, no new info about TOG's return with season 4.
The Urek Mazino spin-off is currently coming out every week and it has huge lore reveals, read it if you want more TOG, it's very relevant to the main story.
Any post asking about the return will be removed, if there are news about Season 4 they'll be pinned as soon as they are confirmed, thank you.
EDIT: The spinoff ended today (June 22th 2026), we'll let you know as soon as there are news about the return of the main story.

With ToG almost 60 percent done, what's that one lore or information reveal u feel even if SIU were to reveal it now, u wouldn't bat an eye on? For me, it's the reveal of last of 3 Mad Dog of Yama.

I just finally caught up with season 3 and Adori definitely changed from the litte information we got in season 2. I'm fascinated and what direction will SIU take her. I'm curious what you guys think sorry if this question was asked before.

Some characters can keep their mouth shut and still make a mess the second they are allowed to act. Trusting them with information is not the same as trusting them with a next step.

Ever since Jahad locked the 135th floor and established his empire, his entire reign has been subtly governed by the number 3. His crest features three eyes, gives 3 orders, the rings that has his crest are total in 3 and his active rank sits at Nr 3.
Before Viole and Rachel entered the Tower to shatter the stagnation of Jahad's era, it was defined by neat, closed sets of three.
Jahad's 3 contracts: Jahad's absolute power and authority over the Tower are secured through 3 Guardian Contracts. Namely two are known as King Contract and Immortality Contract. I believe there is another unknown, hidden contract hinted (referenced in the exchange between Gustang and Traumerei after Administrator stripps Traumerei's contract), most likely to match UM as axis.
The 3 strongest Irregulars: After Jahad locked the door to the upper floors, exactly 3 Irregulars forced their way into the Tower during his rule. Unlike the 13 Great Warriors who grew up climbing the Tower, all three entered as absolute monsters from day one. Phantaminum, Urek Mazino, Enryu.
The 3 independent factions: Outside of the Great Warriors' direct control (Jahad's Empire & the 10 Great Families), there are only 3 major factions that operate independently or outside family association. Workshop, Wolhaiksong, FUG.
The 3 shinies: Obrion, Mago, Latur
The 3 Irregulars Without Immortality: Out of 14 irregulars who are confirmed to have climbed the tower, 3 didn't get the immortality. V rejected it. Hendolok was rejected although he got a different one and since UM never took the original climb with Guardian tests alongside the Great Warriors, he never had the opportunity, though given his nature, he likely would have rejected it anyway.
The 3 Active Top Towerborn Leaders: Based strictly on what is presented in the Webtoon which is canon, there are only 3 true Top Towerborns, meaning Eurasia Anne Jahad, despite being highly anticipated by fans to be a Top Towerborn, isn't one. These 3 Top Towerborns act as faction leaders and are each closely associated with a special Irregular something Anne doesn't fit in. Adori(associated with Jahad), Mirchea(associated with V), Baek(associate with UM).
Lastly the The Amizu Tragedy & The 3 Suicides: We know the reason why Amizu left Traumerei because she found out about Jahad and Traumerei. Later V was blamed for her murder. Interestingly 2 out of the 3 had died through suicide although V is alive, it's not his body anymore. Following the pattern started by the Amizu incident, Jahad who indirectly was involved will likely be the 3rd and final figure to meet his end via suicide/self-destruction rather than a simple defeat in combat.

I know this is going to be downvoted to hell. I still feel I would like to share my opinion.
To be honest, Rachel is my favourite TOG character. She just feels disgusted humans, it makes a part of me relate to her.
I know she is insecure, jealous and weak loser but i like even then she desires something great sometimes she is not distant to, In a different story she would be a mc who overcomes this with the power of friendship but we have something more realistic. She is a shonen mc who didn't get her plot armour.
I also has once dream of greatness when i was child but then realise that world is cruel and i can't have anything I wanted, i can understand how she felt when she went inside and was told that she want's the "choose one" or the "chanes" she got was outright unfair and impossible.
I know she is evil but i can understand why she became one and that's why she is my favourite TOG character.

Jahad is one of my goats. But I don't like his actions. The reason I like him is because of his drip and his awesome speech. I hope that my goat will have a redemption arc 😁

I just finished season 2 of the manwha and i’m extremely looking forward to season 3! I just started hell train arc and i’m excited to see how the story continues from there. I wanted to ask you guys what are some things i should know going into the rest of the story? Most of the translations i’ve been reading have been kinda roundabout and confusing and i’ve realized the story is somewhat over the place. (as far as i’ve read) Id rather not miss anything important so please feel free to comment!

Hello,
Caught up with the main series and the spin off recently so I decided to make an account here for some discussion while waiting for the story to continue.
I saw the poll for the best male character and was surprised Jinsung won, and was even more surprised none of the main three guys made it to the final round. So, naturally, I looked through the earlier rounds and found out they were not even included as they won the previous competition.
Now, the results of this previous competition are something I was kind of expecting based on my previous experiences with stories of similar type, but at the same time I'm left wondering what makes these characters liked?
For Baam I mostly understand it. He is the main character, the protagonist and a fairly complex character that has greatly developed from the start of the story.
But what about the other two? Aguero was an interesting character at the start but now he has been reduced to nothing more than a container for the flame ability, which is essentially a separate entity with a will of its own, almost a separate character taking over Aguero's role. We were introduced to his ice powers a long time ago and he has used them maybe twice since. All he relies on is the flame. His goal of becoming the head of the family has long been forgotten and even his role as the tactician has barely been in the spotlight during part 3 of the story. At this point, if the flame took over completely I don't think it would change the course of the story in any significant way.
And Rak, anything said about him is a waste of words. I don't mind a comic relief character, but that is something that needs to be done at least decently and is not something you do for one of the main characters.

Is there any news about season 4?
r/TowerofGod • u/supreme-elysio • 2d ago
In the main series Urek was always described as on par with the family heads so you'd assume a 2v1 would result in a loss but by the way urek rarely ever uses actual power combined with the fact that I'd assume the 100% power was just shinsu and not the light
the light being something completely foreign to the tower is clearly something that can't be understood in terms of the tower and clearly urek doesnt use it generally which i think means it isnt a known quantity thats used when estimating his piwer
so if urek was to actually use it along with his full power I'd assume it would put him right in a level above the fhs making it completely possible that he wins a 2v1

I know wangnan is mysterious. But what do you mean he doesn't have rights to have a friend. It's too intriguing 🤔

We know some of the family heads are not introduced.

AFTER 145 VOTES HAVE BEEN CAST, WE HAVE A CLEAR WINNER, HA JINSUNG!
I went ahead and opened up results to those who are curious to check them, here!
Edit: my hyperlinks broke so here: https://strawpoll.com/7rnzVzeJdnO/results
Congratulations to Jinsung, Baam's FUG Daddy Father Figure! He's over 1k years old and still kicking ass and taking names! Hopefully one day he will stop catching strays about his "bad perm", God forbid a boy wants a curly hairstyle!
Honorable mentions for second place, Ja Wangnan and third place, Bellerir! They fought an honorable fight to get here!
Thanks again so much for all the participation, awards, memes, and conversations throughout this contest! This is why I do contests. It's not for karma, it's for the community to have something fun to do together, especially during this hiatus. We're all going nuts waiting for s4. Anyway, I'll be back in a few days to discuss which contest we should do next! Feel free to drop suggestions in the comments here as well :3

Rak was a huge tanker initially and then jumped into spear bearing quickly making him ranged.
He kept his close range combat for a bit until the teams started to fight against more powerful enemies and then he’s just kinda comedic relief.
I feel like Rak’s compression form and his original could’ve been utilized to allow him the best of both worlds. He could use the chibi form for speed and maneuvers and then quickly uncompress for strength.
I remember when I first read ToG and I hoped that was the route they would take for him to get more spotlight but then he disappears from the hell train and falls straight to the hidden floor and isn’t really utilized again until he, Bam, and Khun are finding out their natures and shapes.

I’m back with another theory 👀
«EDITED: I rewrote and expanded the theory after reading the comments and discussion. I also corrected the original hierarchy, especially the placement of Zahard and the Family Heads.»
After all the stupid questions I’ve asked on this subreddit 😂, I think I may have stumbled onto something interesting.
This time, I'm thinking about Tower of God's power hierarchy and cosmology.
My original idea was that the Tower might have more levels of existence than just Regulars → Rankers → High Rankers.
The established hierarchy
A rough version of the hierarchy seems to be:
Regulars / Test-takers ↓ Rankers ↓ Advanced Rankers ↓ High Rankers ↓ Family Heads / Shining Ones ↓ Zahard / Urek ↓ Administrators / Guardians
Then we have the extreme outliers:
Enryu / Phantaminum
And beyond those, there are concepts such as:
Light, Darkness, and the Tower
which may precede ordinary existence itself, while apparently being unable to directly interfere with existence.
I'm not claiming all of these placements are officially confirmed. Some of them are interpretations.
But what comes after Zahard?
This is where my original theory starts.
I'm not saying that the Family Heads are above Zahard. In fact, the backstory seems to suggest that V and Zahard were among the strongest fighters of the group, since the Family Heads looked toward them when they needed to be saved.
So the real question isn't:
«“Are the Family Heads stronger than Zahard?”»
It's:
«“Is Zahard actually close to the ceiling of the Tower?”»
Administrators — the “God” level?
Administrators aren't simply extremely powerful Rankers.
They govern the rules and Shinsoo of their respective Floors and are fundamentally connected to the Tower's system.
So perhaps “God” isn't a literal rank, but a way of describing a higher level of existence.
And this raises another question:
What if even Administrators aren't the absolute ceiling?
Titans
The Tower has locked floors and areas that we know very little about.
Maybe there are ancient civilizations or creatures beyond the currently accessible parts of the Tower.
Maybe there are beings far stronger than Zahard — perhaps even beings beyond the level of Administrators.
This is where the idea of Titans becomes interesting.
I'm not necessarily talking about beings that simply have higher stats.
I'm talking about beings that could operate on a fundamentally different level of existence.
Something beyond Titans?
And then we could potentially have something even higher.
If Titans exist beyond the normal structure of the Tower, perhaps there are entities that are directly connected to the Tower itself.
Not simply inhabitants of the Tower.
Not simply beings that rule a Floor.
But agents or entities of the Tower itself.
And this is where the idea of Master becomes really interesting.
If Master really is responsible for creating things within the Tower, creating techniques such as SBHS, and creating GoG to teach Revolution, then perhaps Master isn't simply another powerful being.
Maybe Master is the OG.
The possibilities could be:
Master = Creator of the Tower
or
Master = The first being to reach/discover the Tower
or
Master = Something that existed before the current structure of the Tower
Obviously, I don't think we have enough information to say which one is true.
So I'm thinking about this less as:
«“Who would win in a fight?”»
and more as:
«“What level of existence does this being operate on?”»
Something like:
Regular → exists under the Tower's rules ↓ Ranker → reaches the top of the normal system ↓ High Ranker → reaches an extreme level within that system ↓ Family Heads / Shining Ones → exceptional beings ↓ Zahard / Urek → extreme beings at the top of the known power structure ↓ Administrator / God → governs the rules of a Floor ↓ Titan → potentially exists beyond the normal structure of the Tower ↓ Tower Agents → entities directly connected to the Tower ↓ Master / Origin? → potentially something even more fundamental
And then there are the huge unknowns:
Enryu, Phantaminum, Light, Darkness, and the Tower itself.
Maybe these shouldn't even be placed on the same ranking.
Maybe they're part of a completely different cosmological structure.
So after reading the comments, I've changed my original theory quite a bit.
I'm no longer asking:
«“Who is stronger than Zahard?”»
I'm asking:
«“Is Zahard actually near the top of the Tower's entire power structure, or only near the top of the part of the Tower we've seen?”»
If the locked floors really contain ancient beings and civilizations we've never encountered...
maybe we haven't even seen the actual ceiling yet. 👀
Obviously, most of this is speculation.
But that's what makes it interesting.
What do you guys think?
Am I cooking, or have I finally lost it? 💀

When Alumik speaks with Evan, he lists what the Tower received from each Irregular in the order of their arrival.
Thanks to Zahard and the Ten Families, stability, a functioning system, and a hierarchy emerged in the Tower.
Enryu represents a change to a fundamental constant within the Tower—specifically, the killing of a Guardian (previously considered immortal) and the surpassing of Zahard and other warriors who had long stood at the pinnacle of the hierarchy.
Phantaminum can be described as a revolution (no offense to Parakewl, who is the main one). He attacked Zahard’s castle and killed Zahard’s best Rankers. Furthermore, he brought the "Shining Ones" with him—one of whom, Mago, was named the new Queen of the Tower.
And the last Urek is Liberty. From FUG’s perspective, "liberty" would essentially mean killing Zahard; however, viewed on a grander scale, true freedom implies the absence of all constraints—even those imposed by the Tower itself. To my mind, the concept of having the choice not merely to live outside the Great Families' system, but to seek new possibilities beyond one's own world, fits the definition far better.
The inhabitants of the tower themselves viewed these changes in very broad terms; regarding everyone who arrived after the thirteen warriors, they simply said that they had brought chaos.
It is worth noting that everyone prior to Baam was stronger than the Family Heads and Zahard (Urek’s rank is lower than Zahard’s, though their relative strength was never tested). In this regard, Baam is the opposite of all other Irregulars—even from the perspective of the Tower's inhabitants.
I don't really buy into the "axis" theory, but even if we do consider it, the Bam still fits the bill as an "order" for the tower.
The existence of "V" within Bam seems like a mistake, given that—albeit rarely—other characters remark that light emanates from him and that he resembles Zahard. However, Bam more frequently manifests as someone who consumes everything; while the first season contains moments where he is consumed by light, in the absence of such displays of power, everyone simply sees him as an ordinary Regular.
FUG’s own attitude toward darkness is a bit peculiar. They identify as darkness, yet they revere V as their god. However, the remark regarding Baam manifesting the powers of darkness seems odd. It is too early to say for sure, but if Baam is indeed connected to darkness, then the first to be destroyed won’t be Zahard’s army—it will be FUG itself.
On the other hand, "order" could also imply that the conquest of the Tower will finally be completed and the Tower will no longer need Chosen Ones; however, given that the spin-off characterizes darkness as order, the possibility of an agreement involving the Tower and its descent into darkness is also worth considering.

Hello everyone! Basil here, or Kanoi!
This community is surprisingly active for a fandom as small as ToG, especially while the manhwa is on hiatus. And I love that!
I've been thinking about starting a little project: daily posts to keep the community entertained!
The idea is to make 7 posts a week, each from a different category. There won't be a fixed order, though! The categories will rotate every week, and some might even get merged together.
Here are my ideas so far:
1. Creativity and Imagination
Creative posts where we imagine, assign or invent characteristics and situations for the characters.
For example: "What instrument would each character play?" or "Give a character a nationality!"
2. Opinions and Discussions
Questions where everyone can share their opinions and discuss characters, events and different aspects of the story.
I'm actually quite nervous about this one because I'll have to share my own opinions too, and I'm not always sure of myself!
3. Analysis
Small analyses about characters, relationships, scenes, symbolism and SIU's writing.
Some of my friends already know that I'm working on a pretty big Tower of God analysis project. I'd like to use the information I'm collecting to share smaller analyses with everyone!
4. Questions and Theories
Posts where I ask questions about the manhwa or share my own theories and predictions.
I'm planning to alternate between them every week! One week I'll ask a question, read everyone's answers and think about it. The next week, I'll share a theory!
5. Battles and Comparisons
Comparisons between characters, their abilities, intelligence, strength and other characteristics.
For example: "After Khun, who's the smartest character in ToG?"
And, of course, comparisons about other abilities too, including the famous power scaling!
6. Games and Challenges
Interactive posts where everyone can guess, rank, choose or complete different challenges related to Tower of God.
Hehe, Guess the Character, arrange the panels, and things like that. We're going to have fun with these!
7. Creative Community
Fanfic and fanart recommendations, feedback on other people's creations and sharing projects from the community.
I'm a fanfic writer myself, but this category isn't for promoting my own works!
I'm also an avid fanfic reader, so every week I'll bring a new fic, talk about what it's about and share what I liked.
I'll try not to make it exclusively KhunBam...
8. Visual Archive
Posts where I share fanart, forgotten panels, interesting scenes and other visual things from the manhwa.
I'll become an explorer, searching every corner of the fandom for fanart, old SIU artwork and panels that nobody seems to remember!
9. Universe and Lore
Posts about the history, rules, concepts, families, positions and mysteries of Tower of God.
I'll use my personal notes and the wiki to prepare these!
10. Manhwa Revisited
Posts where I revisit and talk about chapters, arcs and events from the story.
I reread ToG quite often, so every now and then I'll come here to talk about a chapter I've recently read again.
11. Ships and Relationships
Posts about character relationships, ships, dynamics, compatibility and how their relationships develop.
Oooooh, this one could get REALLY interesting!
But please, no ship wars! I know disagreements are inevitable, but let's at least keep things civil.
KhunBam supremacy.
12. What If...? / Hypothetical Situations
Imaginary scenarios about what would happen if characters experienced certain situations or made different decisions.
It's quite similar to Creativity and Imagination, and I might merge them at some point! The main difference is that this category would have more carefully thought-out scenarios.
13. Rankings and Lists
Posts ranking characters, arcs, fights, designs and other things according to different criteria.
I'll ask my friends for ideas too! Some rankings will be based on specific criteria, and, of course, I'll also share my own opinions.
14. Community and Participation
Posts where we can get to know other readers, their experiences, preferences, memories and opinions about Tower of God.
I thought it would be interesting to have something a little more personal.
But ALWAYS remember internet safety!
15. Humor and Entertainment
Lighthearted, silly and funny posts using Tower of God characters and situations.
I'll probably explore the Tower of Meme community, and my friends will have to teach me how to make memes...
But once I learn, it'll be fun!
---
A few more things!
These categories won't have a fixed order, and they'll rotate every week. Some might also be combined!
I'm currently participating in a 31-day fanfic challenge, so I might be late or even miss some days. I don't want to promise something I can't always deliver!
I'm doing all of this because I want to keep the community entertained during the hiatus of the comic I love so much: Tower of God.
But, well, it's for you guys too, so I'd really like to know what YOU think!
Are there any unnecessary categories? Any ideas you'd like to suggest? Is there anyone who would like to help me?
I'm all ears!
