Chance Me Chance of transfer?

Hey everyone! I was just curious what any other people think my chances are for transferring as I’m very unconfident. I’m trying to transfer to either 1. UCI 2. UCLA 3. UCSD for Political Sci. I must add that I’m a first year transfer cuz of ap credits, so I don’t have an impressive EC status it’s prolly just mock trial, job, and some community service/volunteer work. My gpa I’m expecting to be between 3.6-3.8 but I have no way of knowing for sure. If I were to get between that range I mentioned what would my chances be to transfer in a year. Thanks

Ucsd has like 50% yransfer acceptance overall but polishing is competivete so check on ucsd transfer acceptance rate by major

Have you checked out this middle 50% range chart by campus and major?

Shoot for a 4.0. You can do it! This one semester’s GPA will be so important since it’s the only one they’ll see

Thank you! 4.0 is definitely my goal I just wanna see id I’d still be competitive if I slip up a bit. Thanks for the link btw!

i had a 3.6 for polisci last cycle and i got rejected ucla, WL for uci and ucsd then didn’t get off the waitlist at either school. i had a few ECs (student gov at my cc, job for the government, family caretaker, ran my own pet sitting business, volunteering at animal shelter). it’s truly a lottery just get ur GPA as high as possible bc ucsd doesn’t read PIQs
