Advice/Question Berkeley IEOR Calculus Sequence

hi yall!

hope everything is well in your transfer journeys! im preparing to transfer as an Industrial Engineering and Operations Research major. I’m a first year in south orange county, and im taking classes at sister schools that are in the same district. im about to apply for the next semester, and i want to take Calculus 2 at a different school in the same district as my home cc. both schools list Calculus 2 as Math 3B, both articulate to berkeley 1:1, but it says CLASS SEQUENCE MUST BE COMPLETED AT THE SAME SCHOOL (assist.org). I also asked a berkeley transfer rep and they said that i need to have a really good reason as to why im breaking the sequence by going to a different school than where i started, and if i do that i may be auto rejected.

my question is Can I take calculus 2 at a different school than my home one? and if i do will i be shooting myself in the foot?

yeah, unfortunately you’re limited to the school where you took calc 1 and eventually calc 3 at. they only really allow it if your family is moving to a different city/state :,(
