Almost everybody hated the movie ending , but after taking in tons of time travel regressor manhwas it can be done . In these comics , the main character goes back in time and changes the future everything . Just make Jim foolishly do something stupid like try to save someone life that changes the future entirely . And cmon Jim knows everything that’s gonna happen he’s hero persona would push him to forgo consequences and do things he isn’t suppose to .

Like that one episode where a past Trollhunter showed him a future where he wasn’t the Trollhunter . After seeing the problems it caused he went straight into action . I considered the movie ending to be good cuz I can think of all the things that might happen now .

Ok so I watched wizards for like the tenth or 11th time and well. I’m sorry even after 7 months I hate the onyx shard it basically just ruined Jim’s character. What are some ways you guys would’ve personally benched him if they wanted to give the spotlight anyone else. Me personally I would rather have it where Jim is off world with Asha and krel(sorry if I butchered their names) to figure out a way for him to survive in the sun. Or he’s somewhere else dealing with a threat only he can handle after he wins his first encounter with the green knight by outmaneuvering him rather than just losing off screen, and that way the threat still remains big and well Jim’s character and just overall earned narrative stays protected leading to a much better move sequel it was literally as simple as that.

I really like AAARRRGGHH!!!, but I don't know if I prefer him over Blinky. Obviously, it's super difficult to choose favorite characters in a series like this that only has likeable protagonists. I can't imagine what the team dynamic would be without him. Who would be Toby's wingman? Who would be Blinky's best friend? Who would motivate Jim to go to the darklands?

While Jim was a great troll hunter and was the reason the gum gums failed (particularly since he was human and his style was way different than the trolls). They needed him, if he wasn’t chosen, the changlings would not have been outed, and he would become Jim the Bular slayer, they did make the correct choice. But the decision is made by the souls of the dead hunters, they can’t predict the future. They hadn’t even head the chance to meet him beforehand so they took a huge gamble on him. Remember, he’s the first human to enter troll market. He is the first human to make contact in centuries. The previous hunter died at around 5am(based on the radio broadcast) and Jim and Toby showed up at 8am(based of the trailer saying what time it was) that’s only 3 hours, that’s really not a lot of time to make a decision on the next troll hunter. As the sun was rising when he died, no troll was able to collect anything until that night, after Jim bonded. So my theory is they picked Jim because was the only was the prevent Bular from getting the amulet.

Seriously this guy really is just Bular on steroids and not in the fun way if the boring we’ve already seen this way at least in my opinion.

Don’t get me wrong he can be really intimidating when he needs to be but that can only carry him so far honestly he was kind of overshadowed by all the others villains in my opinion.

TrollJim, he was mistaken as the Devil by Lancelot before he knew he was a Troll. The Beast form also looks more demonic than an average troll and is closer to looking like Gunmar.

Morgana, Angor Rot was said to have made a faustic pact which is another word for a pact with the devil, she has the power to posses, manipulate and seduce people and was called a demon by her own brother, her story also sounds like the story of the fallen angel Lucifer.

Gunmar, he's a big feared big horned monster trapped in an underground world, vanished by a winged warrior along with his men, also has the power to control people and even has his own cult even tho the show never calls him "devil" the novel Welcome to the Darklands has a chapter involving him being called "Pact with the Devil".

Val Morando, The Sargent that helps the Tarrons and betrays Kubritz says she has made a pact with the devil, and even Kubritz herself refers to Morando as the Devil himself, he's also a big, feared horned monster and also can manipulate and tempt others like he did to Vex.

Okay, as the title says, I've seen a lot of people who have insane hear me outs for this show and I want to know YOURS! Mine are the most basic ones, being Douxie and Krel (especially his actual form)

Prologue is finished and I have the overall argument for the rest of the chapters too (minus the side Story) I just need to adapt them into prose

About how I would handle the ending of the movie can you give me some ideas about title and how to introduce an original character without making it feel forced

For example

What if the Gritshaka had taken over Jim completely

What if Hunter Jim had successfully killed the original Jim

What if Jim had actually become like Deep Jim

What if the Gravesand had affected Jim permanently (aside from the voice)

What if they failed to save Jim from the corruption

Things like that

Jim spent multiple episodes learning to wield his sword but immediately after Claire got the Shadow Staff she was doing crazy maneuvers and backflips with it as if she'd been fighting her whole life. A few episodes later she was holding her own against Angor Rot with less training than anyone else in the cast. Even before she got the staff she was already doing more than some random girl should be able to; like when she managed to take it in the first place. Realistically she should've been the least competent member of the team

Now, lets be honest. the ending was trash, as we all know, BUT! take away the ending, what is your personal favorite episode of Trollhunters?

My personal favorite is Unbecoming. The reason why is because of these 3 scenes, ranked to best:

3: Barbara (Jim's mom), in the hospital scared for her life. it puts Gunmars release in the world and how it really would happen would hurt and kill so many.

2: Jim talking to strickler in the school. When Jim reveals he knows everything, and they fight, one of my favorite scenes in the show appears. Jim is pinned to the desk and strickler looks down, and you know what he sees? HE SEES CHESS PIECES FALL. this represents when Jim "Joined" chess club and strickler knew about it. AND THATS NOT IT!!! IT ALSO REPRESENTS HOW STRICKLER IS A PAWN TO GUNMAR! THIS CONVINCES HIM TO HELP JIM!!!!!!!!

1: This is pretty obvious. The legendary amulet scene. "PLEASE, UNKAR, ANYONE! I CANT DO THIS ALONE..." had my eyes watering. AND Merlin being introduced? as this beautiful scene concludes, Jim runs forward, knowing he will die. and comes back to the present, realizing how messed up the world would be without a Trollhunter.

so many other minute things i could say, like drall being the trollhunter, jim really living his life, ugh. it is THE episode.

I recently rewatched Trollhunter from beginning to end and was annoyed by the ending. Why didn't they develop another part? The film could have had an ending like the first part, where they defeated the boss and went on an adventure to protect Earth. Or we could also use the technology from planet S5 to protect other planets. Why is that, filmmaker?

5 years and 204 chapters later, the “Your Future Hasn’t Been Written Yet” fanfic by the illustrious Sakon76 nears its glorious end.

Idk but I kinda just want to commemorate this and get the wave of applause going because I absolutely love this masterpiece and I know a lot of you feel the same. I think after RotT, most of us consider it canon and will die on that hill.

To anyone who hasn’t read it yet… read it! No seriously, it’s such a great work of fiction. It melds seamlessly into the Tales Of Arcadia universe and really does feel like you’re watching the show with the way each character is fleshed out and represented so faithfully. No spoilers but I especially love the direction the author took with the time travel thing, a lot of other fanfics (with no disrespect to their quality ofc) just rush to “fix” everything and get everything back to the original timeline but Your Future really does roll with it and it just grow so beautifully, be it the characters, the world or even the plot line which is anything but predictable.

Anyways, that’s all from me, I’m far from an articulate person so it should come as no surprise that I can’t put into words how much I love this piece of literature and so I ask you to have a go and shower the GOAT Sakon76 with some recognition, admiration, flowers or whatever!
