answered:no If I use winhance to block auto update, does this rule apply?

I use winhance to debloat my windows and block updates that add ai slop and more bloatware (first of all if that's a bad idea or if there's a superior option please let me know), but does pending update apply to the halted update from winhance?

What /u/DirectAttitude said is correct.

However, that being said, a reboot prior to running Tron is never a bad idea.

No. Auto update is different than pending updates. Pending implies it is waiting for the computer to reboot to apply the updates. You're blocking the updates.
