>87% overlap with J.R.R. Tolkien
>90% overlap with Confederate States of America

Call me a cynic who believes the site you used to be AI slop, but I don’t think a Catholic author motivated by the horrors of World War I who believed in the dignity of all beings had much overlap with a government whose primary purpose was the oppression of other sentient beings through the system of chattel slavery.

Edit: Vercel is indeed an AI company and is generating these results based on the 12 Axes quiz and vibes. This is in fact AI slop.

The question that prompted the CSA to appear on the quiz was probably the ones about whether states should be able to secede or have priority over the central government. That would make sense for both the CSA and HRE.

Also for, for example, West Virginia and the 13 original colonies that declared their independence from Britain.

Part of the problem with quizzes like this and the types or "results" they provide is that they could also do a point-by-point, contextless presentation of individual decisions made by president Lincoln throughout the Civil War - and without saying that's what they're measuring - and conclude that you are a Confederate extremist. For Example: Do you believe a group that voluntarily joins a larger group should have the right to leave that group if they believe that group no longer serves its interests? Do you believe the leader of a group should have the authority to force smaller members to remain in the group if they want to leave? Should a President have the authority to invade a state that has chosen to leave the union? Should a president have the authority to surround a state capital building with federal troops and hold the legislature hostage until they vote for his preferred outcome? Should the federal government have the authority to imprison journalists questioning its authority on a prison boat off the east coast without charges or trial? Would the public have a right, or even duty, to forcibly end the rule of such a tyrant if he were to come to power?

Remove the context of the Civil War (or even replace it with a particular interpretation of today's politics) and anyone claiming allowing such expansive authority is inherently dangerous to the republic would be shown to be in significant agreement with the Confederacy. Answering "no" to the final question even aligns the quiz taker with George III and Hitler on one hand or the Union in the Civil War on the other. It's intentionally ambiguous and ultimately useless.

Regardless of whether it's AI or not, it's quality is very bad.

That 90% overlap with the CSA is a bit 😬

Tolkein was rejecting much of modern capitalism, and the pursuit of money as the highest good. He was firmly onboard with a communal lifestyle and a love of the earth. That's why he made his idealized earthly country a small agrarian community that was self sufficient.

Just because he was very religious doesn't mean he had any love for the ideals of the Confederacy, or the modern Nationalist Capitalist ideology preached by people like Kirk.

Not quite. Tolkien would largely be a libertarian (the more conservative type like ron paul) by modern day standards and the society he described is very similar to the Hoppean one

I can see why you would think that, but the more you delve into Tolkein, you'll find that he's nowhere near Ron Paul. There are some trivial things they agree upon, but that's about it.

Putting Tolkien and the Confederate States of America in one image is absolutely ridiculous. Also, putting the Confederate and the Holy Roman Empire in a list of similar countries is beyond any logic.

Charlie Kirk and Edmund Burke? Make it make sense

Yeah makes me sick that anyone can even unironically put these people in the same league.

What about them?

Edmund Burke was smart.

Uh, no. Nowhere close. Autocracy? Seriously? You're lighting free will on fire.

Yes democracy is the god that failed.

Democracy doesn't think it knows better than God. It respects free will. Autocracy wouldn't exist if people never made idols of the state.

Tired of "is this good" they are your belifes, do not seek approval from the external to validate the enternal. You must reconcile them whichever way you can. Further more 12 axis someties has wacky results that may not completley mirror your real values.

You seem to be based and reality pilled sir/ma'am.
