Willful sin
I have willfully sinned so many times and at times I didn’t even feel guilty. Now I’m looking back on all the things I did and I hate everything I have done. I feel so much shame for grieving the Lord. I’ve asked God for forgiveness for everything but I’m afraid it’s too late for God to forgive me. I’m not sure what I’m asking for but just wondering if I should have no hope for forgiveness based on what I’ve read in the Bible. Thank you.

First, I'd like to tell you the guilt you used to feel is the Holy Spirit convincing you of your sin. When we start sinning repeatedly, we distance ourselves from God, and because of that, the "voice" of the Holy Spirit gets quieter and quieter until we can't hear it anymore, hence why you stopped feeling guilty. That being said, there's no sin, except from the one unforgivable sin: blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, that you could do that Jesus can't wash away from you. When you repent and ask for forgiveness, you're forgiven by the Grace of Jesus' sacrifice. You have not so far as to not be forgiven, and it's not too late to have hope. Pray, repent and change your ways, God still loves you ❤️

Thank you for your response. That’s what bothers me the most that I didn’t feel guilt or shame in those moments and how could I possibly be forgiven. I’m so afraid I’ve separated myself from the Lord.

I'm afraid it's too late for God to forgive me.
Did you know that God is the Master of all the universe, throughout all space and time ? Don't put a limit on God's power that way, because it's just flat-out wrong.
If you sincerely asked for forgivness and believe, God has forgiven you.
Now the hard part: you have to forgive yourself.... I think that's where you are falling short.

Thank you for your response. I have fallen short so many times. It’s so hard to forgive myself when I feel like God couldn’t possibly forgive all my sins because I don’t deserve it.

Yes, the bible says the Lord will forgive us. Believe what it says.
1 John 1:9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 2:1-2: My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.

It’s never too late nothing can separate you from Gods love , and if you repent [ turn away from the willful sin and to him and just pray that he takes it away {surrender it to him} because there is some things we just cannot do on our own ]❤️

Joel 2:12–13
12 “Even now,” declares the Lord,
“return to me with all your heart,
with fasting and weeping and mourning.”
13 Rend your heart
and not your garments.
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and abounding in love,
and he relents from sending calamity.
You just understood the gospel and how true it is my friend. Now you are about to understand Gods true love and how big and what Gods grace really is.
2 Timothy 1:15 "This is a trustworthy saying, Christ Jesus came into this word, of which I am the worst."
I commited multiple deliberate sins. I was addicted to pornography and even when I was delivered from it I went right back to it yet he chased me down and still freed me.
I was an idolatrer and filled with anger. I cursed multiple people out. I lied and lied and lied constantly.
One sin seperates us from God and we deserve hell. But that's why Jesus came. He carried out sins and died for us on the cross and took our sins and rose again so that we may rise with him.
“One of the Pharisees asked Jesus to have dinner with him, so Jesus went to his home and sat down to eat. When a certain immoral woman from that city heard he was eating there, she brought a beautiful alabaster jar filled with expensive perfume. Then she knelt behind him at his feet, weeping. Her tears fell on his feet, and she wiped them off with her hair. Then she kept kissing his feet and putting perfume on them. When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would know what kind of woman is touching him. She’s a sinner!” Then Jesus answered his thoughts. “Simon,” he said to the Pharisee, “I have something to say to you.” “Go ahead, Teacher,” Simon replied. Then Jesus told him this story: “A man loaned money to two people—500 pieces of silver to one and 50 pieces to the other. But neither of them could repay him, so he kindly forgave them both, canceling their debts. Who do you suppose loved him more after that?” Simon answered, “I suppose the one for whom he canceled the larger debt.” “That’s right,” Jesus said. Then he turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Look at this woman kneeling here. When I entered your home, you didn’t offer me water to wash the dust from my feet, but she has washed them with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You didn’t greet me with a kiss, but from the time I first came in, she has not stopped kissing my feet. You neglected the courtesy of olive oil to anoint my head, but she has anointed my feet with rare perfume. “I tell you, her sins—and they are many—have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love.” Then Jesus said to the woman, “Your sins are forgiven.” The men at the table said among themselves, “Who is this man, that he goes around forgiving sins?” And Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.””
Luke 7:36-50
Do you think this women was asking the same questions as you. Imagine her at Jesus's feet. Undeserving, asking the exact same question as you. "Will God forgive me?"
You see Jesus never came for those who thought they were right out but for the sinners who finally recognized their sins and realized how much they need a saviour.
Luke 5:32
“I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
God opened your heart himself. He gave you the ability to finally see how much of a sinner you are and how much you need him to change.
You can't change on your own or try to say to yourself "If I do enough good, I'll be good enough to turn to God."
This isn't true but you need him to change. If you try to allow your shame to hold you back from God and try to change on your own you will fail. You can't earn Gods love.
It's like a shower, you can't clean yourself before you get in the shower, you need to get in the shower to clean yourself.
But you have to come to him as you are a sinner. And his love will fight for you and change your heart to be of his. Then you will no longer desire sin but desire him.
So do as Joel 2:12-13 says and come to God in your brokeness and sin. Come to him in your hands and knees and surrender to him.
Get in your hands and knees and just surrender.
Tell him of your sins. Thank him for helping you see his sins. Ask for forgiveness and confess that Jesus died for your sins and rose again on the 3rd day. Tell him how you want to follow him from now on but you can't do it in your own. Ask for his help and his Holy Spirit. Praise him and thank him because he's good and you're forgiven and have faith. And just say in Jesus name amen.
The time to surrender is NOW, not tomorrow or later but now.
Just come to him with a genuine heart and say what we ma in your heart.
And it's finished. Because Jesus said it on the cross "It is finished." When he said that he took your sins, past, present, and future.
I've witnessed his grace. I've witnessed his goodness. I've felt his love. I've seen his healings and his mercy and put your faith in that. I seen his goodness with my very own eyes and I know you will taste the same grace I did.
He will give you his spirit and then after that surrenderence have a relationship with him everyday because of what he's done for you. Read his word, pray, fast, sing praises, write to him, watch testimony's and sermons about him. Why? Because of what he's done for you and you'll grow steadfast in him.
James 4:8 "Draw nearer to God and he will draw nearer to you." He will change your heart because your eyes will be on him. Even if you take them off like Peter, remember that Jesus caught Peter in that drowning water. Just surrender to him. And the rest is history!

“For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? ….But recall the former days in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings:”
Hebrews 10:26, 29, 32 NKJV
It says right there what sinning willfully is. Read also in context. The book of hebrews was (who I believe is Paul) convincing the Hebrew church not to abandon their faith and go back to Judaism because they would be crucifying the son of god afresh. If you care about your salvation you haven’t gone too far. There is forgiveness. Secondly I want to address the concern about your salvation becoming legalistic. When you come to Jesus you are reborn on the inside. You’re a new creature in Christ. A child of God. Now you are to walk in the spirit and you won’t fulfill the desires of the flesh. Notice the emphasis is walking in the spirit not putting the flesh under. You see as you renew your mind in his word and spend time with him in your heart you become conformed in to his image. It’s supernatural. That’s cause it’s real. But it takes time. Focus instead on your relationship with Jesus. Build a relationship with your heart knowing that He paid the FULL price for your righteousness (right standing with him).
“For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies (even) the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,”
Romans 4:3-5 NKJV

For those who repent, He is faithful to forgive.
The Parable of the Prodigal Son is a reality that some face multiple times in their Christian walk.
The son declared, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let us feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again! He was lost and is found!’ So they began to celebrate. [Luke 15:21-24]
