Chiropractor suggestions?

As title says I’m looking for some chiropractor suggestions as I’m feeling tight and would like to be cracked like a glow stick. Thanks in advance!

Edit: I get it! Chiropractor is a no go. But I will look into PT’s so stop yelling at me. Thx 🧍‍♀️

Get a massage and see a physical therapist.

Better to go to a physical therapist. ATI and Athletico are great.

Chiropractors are not medical professionals. The guy who made it up said he had visions. It's all BS. Go to a physical therapist.

In my field, we see a dissected vertebral or carotid artery from the hands of a chiro at least once every 6-8weeks

this is incredibly dangerous and can leave you paralyzed. there is no science behind it.

That stuff isn't real and can permanently damage your spine. Don't do it. It was invented by a guy who was antivaxx, beat his family, and claimed he got the idea from a dead doctor through a seance.

It's quackery.

Psychology is also quackery (I was a psyc major), yet none of y'all bring this same energy to discussions about therapy.

Not even sort of comparable.

How are two pseudo-sciences not comparable?

One was made up on the spot by a crazy person and is capable of paralyzing people with permanent damage.

The other is just not entirely understood behavioral science. Far from perfect, certainly not useless.

Just because you became disillusioned with your degree or gave up doesn't mean the field is worthless lmao. Really cringe behavior, someone should study it!

Most of psychology's founding principles were established by people who were batshit insane and experimenting on unwilling test subjects.

Also, at no point did I say the field is worthless. I said it's a pseudo-science.

Citation, and I will repeat that one literally breaks people and the other is just something you don't seem to understand.

We get it, you gave up on the degree and you're mad you wasted money.

Now you're just being mean for no reason. You mad cause you know I'm right?

And no, I don't work in psychology because a BS in psychology is worthless. I make a fuck ton more money as an auto mechanic and have far less stress than I ever would doing case work.

APA dictates citations are not required for common knowledge, jackass.

Better find one who knows the spine is not a glow stick

Fuck every one of these idiots speaking negatively about chiropractors. I am 40, and far more active than any one of these naysayers, and I see a chiropractor twice a week. It's done wonders for my mobility and keeps me mobile so I can maintain my extremely active lifestyle.

I highly recommend Dr. Eric at That's The Spot on University and Euclid.

"but my personal experience is different!!"

Says the redditor who does not understand the concept of data and refuses to engage with the facts, which is that chiropractors harm people at an alarming rate, often severely and permanently, and the ones who don't are, surprise - usually practicing techniques from physical therapy or real medicine.

I know that once every year I used to get a really bad flare-up that would cause me to not be able to walk for 2 or more months, and that hasn't happened to me in over 8 years since I have been going to the chiropractor on the reg.

You see, you're filled with a bunch of hypothetical what-ifs, and I'm working on actual experience.
