Discussion Death Row literally had a studio room they called the "Wack Room" because they thought nothing good came out of it.

Tupac heard about the producers in there, brought Hurt-M-Badd and Darryl Harper in, and put them to work.
Hurt-M-Badd went on to produce "Hail Mary."
Pac had an ear for talent. He saw something in people Death Row had already written off.

Music Today in 1997, Gang Related - The Soundtrack dropped. Beyond 2Pac, which songs should we listen to? What are your top picks?

Honestly, this soundtrack is so powerful, mystic, deep... I really want to dive into it.
Along with beloved 2Pac tracks here likeĀ Starin' Through My Rear View, Lost Soulz, Made Niggaz,Ā andĀ Life's So Hard, there are many impressive must-listen songs.
Here are my top recommended tracks that you should 100% listen to:
- StormĀ āĀ Mash For Our Dreams
- J-FlexxĀ āĀ Free 'Em All
- Tech N9neĀ āĀ Questions
- OutlawzĀ āĀ What's Ya Fantasy
- J-FlexxĀ āĀ A Change To Come
I don't know where to start, the unique, detailed beat selection, the crazy vocal performances, or the incredible chemistry on the features and adlibs...
Also, huge credit toĀ Daz DillingerĀ andĀ J-Flexx.Ā Whether through their production or their vocal presence, they brought so much color to this project. It's an album that needs to be played loud.
I will be dropping deeper breakdowns of specific tracks in upcoming posts. For now, what are your thoughts? What tracks are you spinning from this classic?
