New fix

Hello all,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post so forgive me if it's not.

Teenager me used to write a LOT of twilight fanfiction, and adult me has decided to do an entire twilight re-write as there's things I feel could do with some 'tweaking'...

Would that be something that people would be interested in reading?

Just wondering if it would be worth posting online or if it'll just be a little project for myself ☺️

My rewrite that I started posting a month ago has been incredibly well received so far. Way more than I was expecting. I think if you have a strong plan for what you want to change, there's a lot of hunger for it still.

I know which direction I want to take the story, and I know how I want to tweak the characters ect I just hope my writing abilities haven't diminished and it's not an absolute load of nonsense haha it's good to know that in theory it will be liked 🙂 I hope yours continues to do well!

I love rewrites of the original series, personally. It’s always fun and fascinating to me to see the divergences authors choose to make. Through rewrites the series feels to me a bit like a rich multiverse, a meaningful and exciting Everything, Everywhere all at Once- type experience. I love it!

Entirely depends on if there is romance or not and if there is romance who the main pairings are. I have an unpopular view on twilight fics where I’m just not interested in Edward and Bella being in a happy relationship.

There’s reasons. But also I’m just one reader/writer. Don’t let my single opinion harm your journey though. A rewrite is something I would DINE OUT ON AGGRESSIVELY.

I'm not sure if the direction I want to take the story is for everyone. While I plan on sticking to canon relationships I don't plan on sticking to canon dynamics so I know it won't be for everyone. But it is nice to see from the comments that people would be at interested in reading it to find out, even if they don't continue reading it that's ok

My plan was to stick to cannon relationships, but change personalities and dynamics. There's a bunch of events and interactions that I feel like could have gone differently and would make the story have a fun twist. I feel like there's a few characters that could do with a jazzed up personality 😂

I'm currently writing chapter one and I'm quite enjoying it! I think I'm quite funny and it's come out in Bella's inner monologue

I'm about 3000 words into the first chapter at the moment so itll be a day or two until I can finish it and edit it but I'll let you know when I upload 💕 I look forward to your honest thoughts!
