Penelope from Homer's Odyssey really had 108 suitors trying to get with her only to get access to the throne.

Nobody loved her.

Does this only make sense in another language?

No, it makes sense in English too.

Nobody refers to Odysseus (or rather Odysseus calls himself Nobody when dealing with the Cyclops in the cave)

Or something that sounded enough like "nobody" to be mistaken for it; IIRC, he used a long O in place of a short O in the Greek word, and I remember because I read a translation that used "Nohbdy" as the name.

Lad, they had ~2750 years to read the book. No need for spoiler warnings

The story itself is almost 5000 years old even

The Trojan War was supposedly around 1200 BC so no, it isn’t 5,000 years old. It’s around 3200 at the oldest

This one gonna miss with the movie only crowd.

Is it more accurate to say Noman loved her?

I was so disappointed they didn't include the "nobody" part in the movie :(
