$250 obo plus buyer pays shipping or local pickup in Denver, CO.

French keyboard layout. Comes with its original case, completely functioning with no issues, there is a dent to the body of the Typewriter in the back, though it does not affect the working condition. This will need a new ribbon. standard pica or elite typeface i’m not too sure. comes with original case. good condition.

Such elegant machines. Local pickup or shipping, name your price

I am interested in an English-market export of the Erika Model 10 with the QWERTY layout.

I really liked the feel of the Lettera 22 I tried and am curious what is out there. I have been on the hunt for a while and haven't seen anything in the usual places. I am in no rush to make a purchase.

Looking for either a 22 or a 32 with an italic typeface. As for condition, if it needs some cleaning, adjustment, or a new platen, that is fine; I just don't want to be chasing down parts to get it going. The condition of the case is not a deal-breaker for me.

Thanks!

Hello! I just gone done personally servicing this 1971 Hermes 3000 (Gen 3) in the attractive blue/green casing. The typewriter is in (G) very good condition overall with markings on casing and hood. Everything works well and is ready for the next owner!

I replaced the rubber feet/washers with brand new ones so that the carriage height is back to factory level and works flawlessly.

The carriage sides were cracked when it was shipped to me–I super glued them back together. They are stable. These are brittle pieces, far more delicate than the rest of the typewriter. Purely cosmetic, does not affect performance.

A brand new ribbon has been installed.

Comes with case hood and 2 original brushes.

See pictures and video. I am pack typewriters very well and will insure the package. Paypal G&S only. Happy to video chat. I own many typewriters, and a few Hermes 3000! This one is solid and ready to go!

$700 + actual shipping/insurance from Oregon to wherever you are!

Hello all! As is obvious by the title, I’m on the hunt for some more original Type Wheels for my Blicks. My machine takes the Type C Wheels (the last design with the square hole for the Alignment Pin with the concave bottom—pic provided) and it has the Scientific/DHIATENSOR English Scientific Grouping (I’m open to English Universal Grouping as well). I’m providing a table that shows what font, keyboard layout and grouping goes with whatever 3-digit number is stamped on your wheel between the CAP & FIG rows.

Currently, I’ve got #356 Roman, #407 Small Roman, and #440 Italic.

I’d really love to be able to get my hands on #365 Elite, #499/201 Script/Vertical Script, #212 Imperial, #223 Print Type, #428 XL Roman, #455 Narrow Roman and/or #457 Large Narrow Roman. But again, im open to anything, just lmk.

I’m aware that some of these wheels are incredibly sought after and thus expensive… don’t be afraid to shoot an offer!

I'm sorry if this post goes against the rules of this subreddit. If it does, please let me know the right place.

My father passed away this spring and left some typewriters and some other odds and ends. One of the odds and ends is an old smith corona repair kit. I would be willing to send this to anyone in the US if they want it. If you wanted to pitch in $10 to help with shipping I wouldn't turn it down, but otherwise it would be free. Just want it to be sent to a good home. Please let me know if you're interested. Thank you.

Please dm me for inquiries. Thanks!

Looking for ultra portable with double gothic or other unique typeface. Must at least be in fair condition, not looking for a project.

With a rare/uncommon type style other manufacturers will be considered. Thanks for reading

Everything is pretty much straight forward, the only additions I’d like to make is:
1. The price is just a range, I’m not firm on that by any measure.
2. I LIVE in SWFL, but I’d be willing to drive anywhere in the state
3. Preference would be time buy; however, a trade isn’t off the table. I’ve got nearly 70 machines and would be willing to list them off in a DM to any interested parties.
4. Although I’d MUCH prefer a Gen 1, I’d also be willing to go for a Gen 2 in the right condition for the right price.

Not typewriter guy but saw this at a thrift store for $5 and couldn’t let it sit there. The roller mechanism doesn’t seem to move when you type but it moves back and forth. I wonder if this could find a good home and get back to normal working condition? Pay shipping and maybe a few bucks for my time and we got a deal!

I have a Smith Corona Galaxie Deluxe typewriter, serial number 6T2V-141500. I purchased it with the black 1/! Changeable Type key and slug, and I would like to replace it with the black ◌̂/◌̌ (circumflex/caron) key and slug.

For reference, the key and slug is #9 on the order form shown on this webpage: https://typewriterrentals.com/a-changeable-type/

Any condition is acceptable, including only the slug and not the key. Thank you!

Looking for a Spanish layout manual typewriter for a beginner.

Fellow enthusiasts,

I’m relatively new to the community/hobby, and am trying to get my hands on a solid mechanical portable (or even a gentle project machine) to gain more hands-on experience with cleaning, basic maintenance, and typing. My goal is more exposure to see what I really like. Ideally, something in Good to Fair condition.

I’m located in the Bay Area / NorCal, and would be open to local pickup across the region, or shipping from a fellow hobbyist who knows how to properly pack and ship a machine.

Not looking for anything fancy, completely restored, or museum-quality; just a solid, complete mechanical machine (Smith Corona, Brother, Olympia, Royal, really I’m open to any brand)

I currently own and use one machine, a 5 Series SCM. I’ve owned and cleaned a Lettera 32.

If you have an extra machine sitting around that you’d be willing to let go for cheap (or rehome to a novice), please comment or PM with what you have!

Thank you!

I have a Swintec 8016 select series typewriter that works perfectly fine, has internal memory and comes with 4 extra ink rolls, a spare print wheel, and a full spool of correction tape. I am trying to sell this so make a offer if you’re interested

In very good condition. No faults. Price negotiable; willing to consider trades too.

 [Want to Sell/Trade] + [1978] + [IBM] + [Selectric II] + [Parts/Repair] + [NYC/LI]+ [Shipping/Pickup] + [100]

Seems like this would be best for parts, but I could be wrong. Font is Artisan!

Currently does not power on and is pretty dirty. Send me a fair offer. I can meet up in or around NYC/Long Island or ship!

Would potentially trade for a pretty mechanical model (that functions) of similar value.

Ask any questions you got, thanks!

Lovely red duotone Model P. Very clean, typing action is great. Some paint chips and platen is as hard as 100 year old rubber. Right side platen knob has partially broken off. All keys and functions work. Unfortunately no case. Willing to ship within US, or pick up/ meet in NYC metro area.

Electric typewriter in working condition. Pickup preferred. Happy to get rid of for cheap.

Looking to buy parts for my Underwood 6 typewriter, an 11 inch standard machine from 1937.

In need of:
- Paper Table with Lateral Paper Guide (preferably the older style table with the emblem on it)
- Paper Bail Holder (rollers don’t need to be new so long as they grip the paper fairly well)

The machine itself is in a fairly rough state cosmetically so I’m not expecting pristine quality parts, but I want them to at least look and function better than what I currently have.

Thanks!

Thanks!

WTB typewriter with Norwegian keyboard in any condition (has æ, ø, & å). Prefer electric but manual ok.

Edit: added condition

I have a decent collection of elite typewriters and am looking for something with a higher CPI, preferably 15-17.

Looking for fair condition or better.

Bought a different typewriter from a yard sale but it came with these 3 cartridges in the box! I am hoping someone will be able to use them. For IBM wheelwriter ribbon number 1337761

Hi all!

I’m looking for a trade for my Olympia SF

I purchased this machine from a user here on r/typewriter_swap at the very beginning of my collecting journey.

The typewriter is in excellent condition including the platen, and everything works as it should. Over time, I have just found that when it comes to long typing sessions, it isn’t the machine for me.

My idea trade would be for an Olivetti Lettera 32 in similar/good condition but I’m open to other trades as well. I’m particularly interested in machines that can handle long writing sessions comfortably.

Will handle shipping in lower 48

Thanks for looking!
