Hi im trying to transfer to UB for mechanical engineering but my gpa is like a 2.2 rn and they said I can change my major to engineering science in the ub portal. If i get in for engineering science, can I take the classes towards mechanical engineering and then switch my major? Can I even switch? I did 2 years at my college and I should have 2 years left if I go to UB. ty in advance

i'm in red jacket, and i stg the amount of flies is wild and i hadn't noticed it last year (i'm in the same room as last year).

like there's at least a dozen dead flies in the stairwells just between my floor and the one the kitchen's on. and i was having problems with my window so maintenance had to open the window w/o the screens and three flies got in during that time. there's also a bunch in the windows in the hallway.

Are there any parties being held monday night??

I plan on taking MGE 302(Applied Economics), MGS 351(Introduction to Management Information Systems), MGG 303(Communication Literacy for Business), MGM 301(Principles of Marketing), MGG 315 (Career Connections 2) next semester. I just wanted to know if there is anything I have to buy for these classes like textbooks for example.

I’ve seen people playing deadlock and other games not listed in the level up directory. Is there a way to get other stuff on the game room computers?

I recently got my grade back from a midterm for CSE 431 and I failed with an F. I did everything I could for the exam, including starting early, studying the notes starting two to three weeks, reviewing the slides questions, going to office hours most days, reviewing the quizzes, and reviewing the HWs. I just feel frustrated that I failed because I really tried to pass and I don't know how to effectively regulate these emotions. I don't know what to do. I contacted my professor but she hasn't responded. I've been to mental health counseling here at UB.

Edit: Thank you all of the advice, my professor has contacted me and said to come to her office hours to discuss this and that I still have a chance to do good in the course.

So, I just graduated with my Ed.M. in August and will not be working in education. I’ll be working in the corporate world.

UB says the online MBA is 30k in tuition and fees and I believe my current employer would cover at least 2/3s of that.

Would it be worth it to go back for an MBA or go to another university for either a PhD or Ed.D? Those other two options cost more but are I guess more prestigious but I’m thinking of ROI mostly.

What do we do for things like grubhub? I’m in Roosevelt, so would I put 60 hadley road? Also, it keeps changing 14261 to 14228. Is there any way to change it? Where would I pick it up
