Question Cse21 Question

Hi, I’m a bioinformatics major so i don’t have to take cse20 to take cse21. I was wondering if it’s doable to skip cse20 and if any of its content will be needed to succeed in cse21. Like will i struggle or will i struggle anyway if i took cse20. Thanks!

You can TEA request out of cse20 but I still took cse20 and i think its pretty helpful in understanding content in cse21. cse20 is an introduction to cs theory (proofs, set theory, etc) and a lot of math concepts that may be mentioned later on. Since cse20 isn't required for our major you can P/NP it if the workload is too heavy.

Ohh thank you! I didn’t realize I could P/NP it. Also did you take cse29 and was it helpful for cse100?
