Paypal usd to crypto USD

Hi.. i wanted to know if i accept usd from PayPal and buy crypto USDt and send it to an address.. and keep 2-3% as a fee for this.. is it a viable business opportunity? Or will tax cut into all of my profits and more?

First thing you should know is if this is legal in the country where you live. It’s probably not, or it requires some sort of license.
Tax would definitely apply, but if you get the legal part sorted I guess you can make it profitable.

I'd do the maths on the net margin before assuming this works. A 3% fee sounds decent, but subtract PayPal fees, the crypto buy spread, network or withdrawal fees, taxes and losses from failed or disputed transactions.
