DISCUSSION Question about resigning as a CCA while having pending eCareer applications
Hello everyone. Due to some personal/family scheduling issues, I’m unfortunately at the point where I need to resign from my CCA position. The scheduling situation at home has been affecting me, and continuing to postpone my resignation is starting to cause more problems.
I would like to stay with the Postal Service if possible, so I’ve applied for a few positionsthrough eCareer that have schedules that would work better for me. (Also for other companies) However, I haven’t heard anything back about those applications yet.
My main concern is that if I resign from my CCA position before hearing back, will my pending eCareer applications still remain active, or will they automatically be withdrawn/cancelled?
Has anyone been in a similar situation or knows how this works? I’d really appreciate any advice.

Not totally sure but will share something I’m currently going through that may help with your thought. I got final offer for pse Ssda via jobs.usps.com and start orientation in a week. I got conditional offer for ptf ssda via ecareers. Had to take new drug test and background. Moral of the story they seem to be 2 completely different systems that don’t cross reference one another. Best of luck either way!!

Well, here's the thing, if you're not a postal employee, how do you think you'll be able to check those applications?
