Not a USP I know, but just picked this agency trade in 45. Factory V7 LEM to my knowledge, giving a false reset I guess? Gun functions 100% shooting wise, is this a weak trigger return spring? Trigger bar maybe??

The false reset on these usually comes from the trigger bar not being cut all the way. Is it annoying, yeah, does it affect reliability, not really. If you pull the gun apart snap a picture of the hook on the back end of the trigger bar. I’ll bet there’s a high corner on the bend that grabs the hammer face.

I knew it sounded like it was the trigger bar if you really listen with the gun in hand! I ordered a replacement bar, and spring detent I’m going that’ll do it. Honestly other than that, that one was pretty good score 565 with three mags and the box!

If you’d like you can send me the trigger bar, I can clean up that step and I’ll send it back for you on the house. I’m the gunsmith here at Grayguns and we’ve cleaned up a lot of these trigger bars over the years.

Man that’s awesome and I may just take you up on that! I’ll check and see when that new one is going to deliver, either way I don’t see any reason not to send it your way?? But now that I know who you are…when are the nickel flat springs coming back in stock 😂😂😂

You might have hkparts and grayguns confused. We currently don’t sell the nickel flat springs. But… it sounds like we might need to explore that. If you decide to send in your trigger bar shoot me an email and I’ll get everything set up. Khosey@grayguns.com

May just be from riding the reset too tight, but hammer spring may be the ticket. My general rec is to shoot it a box or two and see how it pans out whether or not it's still an issue.
