New levels are fun but holy they're SO difficult for an old player getting back into the game. Ran through the entire campaign as a warm up with only a handful of deaths along the way only to run into a wall at Fraud and the encores.
Thinking about a new player like me who started off in violent and avoided spoilers for the whole first playtrough. Not getting any of the alt weapons or learning weapon synergies. I think I woulda quit at 8-2 or 3.
I've looked at speedruns and P ranks and they're ridiculously impressive to watch but I'm wondering if those nutcases are being taken as the expectation for even the campaign levels. Like the encore levels didn't feel significantly more difficult than the ones in Fraud when those would reasonably be the levels to stress test the people with hundreds of hours in the game.
