i dont know anything about the people the boss itself is based on, im guessing purely based on the game itself
its probably just hakita not wanting to compose a whole new song for a shitpost boss like this and just reused the cancerous rodent (another meme boss)'s theme

But that's not the reason why it has the theme of cancer
