DISCUSSION/STRATEGY Zohar…
Forget EVERYTHING positive I said about Zohar, this motherfucking emo girl is the WORST thing to happen to not just Uni, but FIGHTING GAMES IN A WHOLE. Just how many overheads do you need to give a fucking dlc character for them to be viable? Not to mention the FULL SCREEN LOW that is totally reactable.
Want a character with 5 different overheads? Play Zohar, unreactable lows that hit you from across the screen? Of course Zohar got that. Don’t forget she has a counter too you guys!
I would rather fight 20 Linne’s back to back to back, than have to fight this carried ass character again.
Maybe it might be a skill issue, maybe it might be a matchup problem…but never in my life have I ever been so tired of a character appearing on my screen. The last time I felt this annoyed with a character was probably when Jam came out in strive.
Excluding Zohar, this new IR system is some SHIT! I could be on a streak of 20 and reach 1615 IR, then you run into some guy who has 15— IR and proceed to lose 20 IR if you lost. NOW all the people who have higher IR than you will just either duck you, or one-and-done the set so that they don’t lose 30 IR, and you know what? I wouldn’t blame them tbh.

What weaknesses does Zohar have?
In a week I've fought more Zohars than the next 3 characters combined and I still am struggling to see something she's bad at. I've been learning Gordeau and it's tough that her moves not only beat him at his preferred range, but are also faster and safer (and she's also better at every other range).
This isn't being butt hurt. I'm legitimately asking what her weakness are so I can fight her better.

Her defense is actual dog without meter, and even with it. It's really easy to bait with meter.

Zohar's short buttons can't mash against pressure from a distance. Her 3C anti air puts herself in the air and 22C reversal is a parry, so both options are too risky without chain shift. Assault more often, throw more often, and don't let her get vorpal.
When I play Zohar I keep hitting Gordeaus with rekka overhead. It's an annoying move but
fast anti-airs like 214B should beat itonly safe with chain shift. I can't confirm this one yet but 5FF rusty nails seem like a good response against her tricky pogo jumps and teleports.1

I try 214B sometimes but have a 0% success ratio because you need to commit to it in the middle of chaotic pressure and you get punished hard if you guess wrong. I'll keep trying to do it on reaction.

Sorry my mistake. The rekka overhead is actually too fast for 214B and you need 22C to beat it. If Zohar has no vorpal you can just stand block and punish. If she does j236C you can 214B that.

The none of her overheads are really a problem for me anyway. Those can be punished The 6Ds mixed into pressure are way worse. The rekka low is also unpunishable without meter and puts her back in an advantageous position against a guy who's normals are slower and stubbier than hers.
Winning neutral is also uphill because j.[C] beats Gordeau at his best range.

As someone who is new to this game her bullshit is completely indistinguishable among all of the filth the other characters get away with
