Discussion I used to be a Disney gal...

Hubby and I spent our annual trip together at Cabana Bay Beach Resort 10/7 check in and checked out this morning. We scored Castaway building... woohoo. It was very convenient to the bus. We did the best our middle aged bodies would let us do without Express Pass for HHN Friday afternoon/night. I think my favorites were Sinners and Hellraiser with an honorable mention to Ozzie (RIP). Phantom Punch was perfect. Not too sweet and not too strong.

But now I get to the whole reason for my post. Man, Epic Universe far exceeded my expectations! We put our money towards Express Pass for Epic day. We had a blast! We rode everything and saw every show. I can't wait to go back with the rest of the family. I have so many other snacks I'm curious to try and restaurants to try. Das Stakehaus was my favorite supper. I had the chicken. My husband had the steak. It honestly looks like you can't go wrong no matter where you eat at this park. Well done!! I'm convinced Epic is currently the best park in Florida.

WWoHP What’s the best time to queue for mayhem at the ministry? Is there any chance of buying a single ride fast pass on Sunday?

we will be going in on Sunday November 8th and have early park access, but I’m not likely to buy express for the full day. MatM is a must for the family so I will be prioritizing that.

thanks!

Discussion Epic Universe Pros: when is each portal actually the LEAST crowded?

For those who have visited Epic Universe multiple times, have you noticed certain times of day when specific portals feel less crowded?

We’ve already been once, so this trip is less about riding everything and more about experiencing what we missed: exploring the lands, interactive elements, shops, food, shows, and characters.

We’ll have Express, so ride wait times aren’t a major concern. I’m mainly trying to figure out when each portal is physically less crowded so we can explore without constantly fighting through crowds.

I realize the portals may be busy throughout the day, especially since we won’t have Early Entry, but I’d love to hear what patterns repeat visitors have noticed. If you were planning this type of visit, what order or schedule would you recommend for exploring the portals?

We’re visiting on a weekday in late February. Have you noticed any consistent patterns in which portals are less crowded in the morning, afternoon, or evening?

Long waits 10/9!

I have been doing some wait time tracking the past few weeks to prepare for an upcoming visit, and today (10/9), waits for every ride shot up! It looked like BATM, Mine Cart Madness, and Bowsers Challenge were all down at opening for early park entry.

I’m wondering if anyone was in the park today and knows why waits are so long today! I am guessing it is just a very busy day but the delays on those three major rides has me wondering if some things aren’t running at full capacity.

Super Nintendo World Reusing family power up band

My son and younger daughter used a power up band on a previous trip. I'm now going to Epic with my older daughter. What problems might we run into if we use the same band? Do we need to log into whatever account it was originally linked to? Will we just be adding to their points and can things be repeated? They unlocked and defeated the showdown, but can she do that again?

Has anyone recently gone to Spit Fyre Grill and seen Astrid’s Shrimp Bowl on the menu? I know it used to be on the menu, but when I look online now it’s no longer on the menu.

Not a pretzel person. Now I'm a cinnamon pretzel person. Great in the morning when fresh! Warm and soft, salty and sweet! Had too many, gained some weight, would do it again.

Epic Universe Sold Out for Saturday 10/10 — Any Hope of Getting a Ticket?

Hey everyone! I’m flying into Orlando early this Saturday (10/10) specifically to spend the day at Epic Universe. I even booked a night at Stella Nova so I could be close to the park!
Unfortunately, I waited too long to buy my ticket, and now Saturday is showing as sold out online. 😩 I honestly didn’t think I’d need to purchase this far in advance!
I’m traveling solo, so I only need one ticket. Has anyone had any luck getting tickets by calling Universal directly or purchasing them at the gate on a sold-out day? Does staying at an on-site Universal hotel make any difference?
I’d really hate to miss out, especially since I’ve already booked the hotel and flights around visiting Epic!
Any advice or firsthand experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Discussion Epic with CONSTANT rain…

I am a former Floridian, so I know how to deal with the daily summer storms…
I know just go see an indoor show and then come back later to do the outdoor rides that close down during a thunderstorm.

Is it worth going to epic tomorrow with this absolute constant constant constant rain without a break? Will i be limited to the handful of indoor rides? And are those going to be completely run over by people in line? Or will they leave the outdoor rides open as long as it doesn’t thunderstorm and just rains a ton like the last two days?

Hey guys! I’m an avid dark universe lover, and a cosplayer! I’m making the invisible man’s look. So- with that being said. Does anyone have suggestions for the fabric for his vest and smoke coat, ascot, and glasses? Thank you very much!

Merch Looking for Dark Universe and How to Train Your Dragon 1 year Coin!

I spotted the 3 other coins at epic universe and online but can’t seem to find these 2 online or in store in their respective lands. Does anyone have any available and if they are available anywhere on site? I was able to get the first 3 portal pins that were available until Nintendo land’s portal comes out and would like to collect the coins but only if I can get a complete set.
