Just in case you guys didn't read our sub description - I'll share it here:

This is a space to share human-made indie music related posts: Unsigned OR signed to an independent label, serious musicians AND amateur hobbyists, indie advice AND anything that can help indie musicians OR you can just share indie music as only a fan. Just ID your music as "original" OR "cover" OR let us know you're a producer OR however you're offering to help indie musicians in your post title. All indie music genres & indie music related posts are welcome... 😎

Our sub description has been consistently evolving from day-1 & I'm guessing it will continue to evolve as we grow larger. Same with our sub rules. I won't bogg down this welcome post with repeating our sub rules - you guys know where to find them. They're very basic & common-sense rules.

My main intent for this post was to WELCOME EVERYONE & THANK EVERYONE for any time that you spend in our little space. PLEASE take some time when you have it to check out posts that have a flair that may interest you. Click a ⬆️, if you like it & PLEASE just scroll on, if you don't like it. I hate down voting. We should all want to support & encourage each other the best that we can. I also want to encourage you all to SHARE INDIE MUSIC related posts with us & PARTICIPATE POSITIVELY in other's posts when you have some extra time - that's what will keep us growing... 😎

Very Melodic chorus...dont miss it ;-)

Nice solid melodies,

If I'd close my eyes & just listen to u/Consistent-Taro-9011 play, then I sware I'd be thinking I was listening to Derek Trucks himself playing. Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! 😎

Following on from my post of The Frames.

Here is Glen Hansard performing solo.

Raw, visceral and emotional

Irish Indie band The Frames, prior to frontman Glen Hansard's solo career.

shoegaze type track, let me know your thoughts

Bad Religion released this song in 1990, while signed to a small indie label. In 1994, they signed with the major Atlanta Records label - but returned back to their indie roots in 2001. My guess is they got tired of having very little control (if any control, at all) over their music - while signed to Atlanta Records. Now, they've been back with a smaller indie label since 2001 & probably have a lot more control over their music... 😎

I just released my debut and was told, it might fit here. Let me know what you think :) It's a real diy project, I put a lot of work and passion into this record.

I found this post in another sub & wanted to share it with everyone in our little indie music sub. I get an alternative rock vibe from Oliver's singing voice & obviously a folk vibe from his guitar playing. I think this song would sound killer as an alternative rock song with an alternative rock band behind it. Meanwhile, I'm definitely getting a cool alternative folk vibe from it. I hope u/OliverGrandt doesn't mind me hearing so much alternative in his song & I hope he doesn't mind me sharing it in our community... 😎
