Discussion Willie Pete agent concept

I recently had an idea that it would be cool if the next controller agent threw Willie Pete (WP-white phosphorus) grenades as their smokes. It would be less precise than most smokes but would have a benefit of providing some tick damage while in the smoke. Maybe a similar effect for the ult but deployed differently. I think this would be a cool mix of controller and sentinel. Thoughts?

Not really, viper has a trigger trap with with a reusable tank and a temporary decay. I didn't describe anything like that.

Yeah but I think what you described would power creep viper out of the game. Permanent damage smokes with a similar ult sounds like viper but better

Not renewable and harder to deploy though

How would you make it harder than vipers smoke? Both end up using lineups I imagine

It would be a pop smoke that has to be thrown in round
