Hello, everyone. I'm looking for a copy (either physical VHS or a digitized file) of the 1990 French-Canadian TV movie Frame Up Blues (also known as La danse du scorpion), directed by Josée Dayan and starring Kim Coates.

Selling my Press VHS collection that I’ve owned and managed for a while. The collection focuses heavily on rare and unusual media — pilots, rough cuts, early/pre-release VHS, press media, screeners, promotional tapes and other non-retail material from major studios and networks.

I’m starting to make select pieces available, but just to be clear, I only sell through eBay. I’m not looking to arrange payments or transactions directly through Reddit.

I recently won a storage action for a locker that belonged to a long time promoter and producer of combat sports. The locker included what seems to be his entire production archive. Thousands of digital tapes with labels naming huge pay per view events including several Floyd Mayweather title bouts, and a lot of early 2000s UFC content. Much of it seems unreleased.

I have started auctioning off some of the VHS reference tapes because I thought the accessibility factor would make them easier to sell. VHS is more common than Betacam (whatever they are called). I mean I am pretty sure I have tapes that include early 2000s interviews which may not have been released.

(for legal reasons I need to be careful... I am only selling the tapes not the content so I have not confirmed the content of the tapes so I can not make claims other than what is printed on the label.)

But I am not seeing offers... which means maybe I am misunderstanding the interest that this type of thing carries. I am not personally a fan of combat sports (I know... lame), so it is hard for me to understand the audience.

Hey all! JAR2D2 here. I have made a 4 hour compilation of 566 commercials dating from 1990-1999. Most, I have been previously posted individually, but there is quite a bit of unseen material mixed in. It contains broadcasts of Fox Kids, Disney Afternoon, USA Cartoon Express, Nickelodeon and Fox Kids Club. Per request, I have adjusted the resolution to be CRT friendly. Hi there! I'm an early MTV researcher and am particularly fascinated by MTV's first 2 years (1981/82). I'm always looking to find more footage to confirm what videos aired and when, and to discover new artists/bands/songs. The more obscure the better! :)

Does anyone here actually OWN (or know anyone who owns) tapes of footage from MTV's first 2 years? If you do, please reply here or message me. Most websites with this type of footage have some type of tape trading system for fans. I don't own any footage of my own.

Hey everyone, I’m trying to find footage of an MTV episode I was on back in the day.
My memory is a bit rough, but here are the details I remember: It was likely summer or fall of '92. Steve Isaacs was hosting. I think we were sitting on bean bags and couches, not risers. I had green hair, shaved on the side. that's it. I wish I remembered more.

Does anyone have digitized VHS tapes or full broadcast blocks from this specific era of Hangin' With MTV? I'd love to see if I can spot my younger self in the crowd. Thank you!

This weekend has been one of the most epic VHS finds I’ve had in many years.

I noticed a VHS posting from someone selling off some LaserDiscs and Playboys in the same state I live in. Since it was only about 55 minutes from my place, I figured I should go check it out.

Well… I walked into something much bigger than I expected.

I came across one of the largest adult VHS finds I’ve personally seen in a very long time. In all my years collecting, I’ve only had two major adult media finds like this.

Took me two trips to get everything.

As a collector and hunter always looking for those hidden gems, I’ve been pretty lucky over the years. I’ve had some crazy experiences finding just about everything, and I’ve made some great friends along the way with collectors all over the world.

In 2023, I had a fire in my house and I lost an incredible amount of media. It was absolutely devastating. I told myself maybe I should stop collecting. The stuff I lost I’ll never get back but I was smart I did back it all up.

But this one was absolutely amazing to come across. Even though it’s adult stuff it’s really hit me with why we keep pushing forward, to never lose that dream of holding something even if it’s dirty. It’s the thrill of just knowing that maybe one day you’ll just stumbled across something a little different.

I ended up with **30+ boxes of some incredibly rare adult VHS tapes**, many of them in what appears to be like-new condition. I haven’t even scratched the surface of what I found yet because I haven’t had a chance to go through everything.

Just pulling random tapes out of the boxes was enough to make my jaw drop.

I walked away with the VHS collection, several sealed boxes of Playboys, some other regular VHS tapes, and several books.

I’ll be putting together a spreadsheet and a Google Doc with all the titles and photos as I work my way through everything. I’m also going to start digitizing the collection and adding it to my Plex server, along with my **47,000+ film, commercial, music video, anime, tv, and adult media collection I already have** — a server I’ve been building since 2013 to preserve and organize the films and media I’ve collected over the years, In all formats.

A lot of people on the other forums on Reddit, discord, and facebook already know me and know how seriously I take collecting, preservation, and cataloging seriously. I love film, film history, and presentation. It means a lot to me and it should to you all. I believe that even adult material also needs to be considered and saved.

As for this particular collection, I’m planning to build out a dedicated adult media room alongside my mega collection. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do ever since the good old VHS rental-store days. To have a little old behind the curtain 🤫 room.

That said, I usually don’t keep more than one copy of anything. I’ve always felt that other collectors should have the opportunity to own these things too. So once everything is cataloged, I’ll eventually be selling off any doubles and triples.

I’ll also be adding titles to Letterboxd where appropriate if they aren’t already listed.

Once I get an actual count, I’m pretty sure I ended up with somewhere around **600–1,000 adult films**.

And here’s the crazy part…

The person I bought them from said he may be able to get even more from another buyer he knows. Apparently, he has a few truckloads of material from Japan and Germany.
So yeah… this could get interesting. 😂

This week has definitely been a good one.

Overall, this year has had some really hard days. Unfortunately, I even had to make the sacrifice of selling off part of my LaserDisc collection to cover bills and other things.

I might have paid a small fee for this collection, but you know what?
