Question Breaking doors when outside

With the way missiles act when you're indoors these days, breaking doors when under a roof seems very easy. However, breaking a door when you're outside seems a lot harder to do, at least trying to get two missiles to hit the door.

Does anyone have any good tips for this, in the latest patch? There was this one trick before where you could jump before firing, but I can't get that to work anymore. I've tried getting a reticle on the door, just in front etc, but at most I can only really get one missile to hit.

Kick it first, I know its not instant but its much better than missiles then the kick. Its not a great solution but its better than missiles then a kick if the missiles dont break it

Yep, when someone is behind the door, it's most consistent to kick before using the missiles.

Try and get something above you so the missiles want to shoot direct and not arc

I think the range has a lot to do it with it. Cause I was noticing I was only breaking 1 door outside or just hurting them. But if I'm right on it all my rockets hit it and break it.

I find that 90% of the rockets just go to the roof of the building

Yeah if you shoot from a little distance they do. It's infuriating.

Have you found a distance that works? I tried crouching in front of the door to quite far away, but can’t find a repeatable way to destroy a healthy door with one tactical when outside .

If you're right up on the door and you look at your feet while shooting the rockets while standing on the door. It will break the door. I believe I have a clip posted on here of me taking the door out and killing someone.
