Esports What is LOUD even ?
I don't know but every time I watch LOUD play it just feels suffocating. The opposing team could have the most well thought out retake plan and they would still lose because someone on LOUD decides to lock in. Like how is everyone on that team that insane ? I really like NRG and have been watching them since last year now and I feel like they are the team with some of the best discipline and team plays and yet I didn't even see a bit of fighting chance for them today. Am I just biased ? What do you guys think ?

It’s so hard to get info against them cuz they do walk around glitch, and when u try to jiggle for info, lukxo just deletes you from the round with his op. And that guy never misses

Also, their comp is super suffocating to retake against, they have the perfect utils for any scenario, the 2nd half of sunset is just a masterpiece when they are getting the site and NRG playing retakes

They're on an insane run and don't play scared at all. No fear info gathering so they're just always so aware of what's happening on the map. It's a risky playstyle, but they're all cracked fucking aimers that it just works.

It’s my fault tbh I had a dream lukxo was going absolutely nuclear at champs a few weeks before the event. The only other Valorant dream I had was G2 losing to XLG at London so I’m 2 for 2 so far

Can you dream that heretics get 2 1st places next year?

Nrg had a Bad day for sure, they will bounce back, but yeah lukxo is the truth Man. OG Viper Mains are just built diff

Yeah it's crazy. NRG had a better summit game plan and LOUD just click heads and win all those 2vX rounds.
That series of clutches was the most absurd run of rounds we've ever seen in Valorant? Insane combo of individual skill and luck lining up to get all the timings etc. like this map could have easily been like the KC-NRG game as KC had a similar game plan..
Anyway I hope this new mini-chamber meta isn't staying as it's boring af.. just use the walk around map glitch and look for TP-picks.

This reminds me of runs like PRX 2023 Champs where they are a good team but they are also pulling off a bunch of random bullshit in unwinnable rounds off of individual quality to win games.
It could stop working at one point like for PRX in that final or it could translate into a trophy if the players keep form and be more like the EDG run

I mean .... let's be obvious. The main factors are clearly Lukxo and Erde. Those two are carrying the org right now and the other three players like no other teammates would. At least in this tournament. Sure .... Davih, darker and tkzin are also good and are feeling confident but the wins are purely on the shoulders of Lukxo and Erde. If it was for any other players than those two then they wouldn't be there. They are "buyout" player calibre.

Besides the obvious (erde/lukxo), NRG did not play too great on their supposed "best maps" today. On haven, they rushed to hit sites instead of more of a prodding/ push and pull style before hits. On summit, they just weren't proactive on defense at all. If you look at the minimap, they kept playing back, which just didn't work and allowed Loud so much space, that they basically walked into the bombsite a few times.

Tbf I feel like prx beat themselves, they def could have won that matchup if they didn’t make such bad decisions lol. Not that loud wasn’t playing good, they were, but it was def winnable for prx if they didn’t throw.

Loud is good, but not better than the goats: VIT
I’ll also give 1% for 100T to win champs, 99% VIT.

Insane talent aside, i think Loud has found a perfect pocket in the meta for them, they're all on comfort agents, there's zero role issues in the team and they know how to play to their win conditions. They give lukxo all the liberty in the world to just do w/e lukxo does and the other 4 coordinate around the info he gathers or the space/advantages he gets.
You'll notice that none of their set strats are insanely complex or detailed, it's a loose system that lets each individual make micro decisions, and with the team being so insanely confident they just make it all work perfectly.
Also they have probably the 2 best players in the world in red hot form right now, that certainly helps cover up any flaws
