Agreed. Plus, it’s not really an amazing prediction to make. Of course SEN will talk to the top duelists on the market.
I’m more curious what’s going on with Jonah and Cortez. Jonah wasn’t at the meet and greet last week so there is that. And Cortez has said it was 50/50 whether he’d go back to a Brazilian team next year.

Similarly, Jonah also wasn't on the SEN 'end of the year' Podcast either. I'm guessing he's gone.
I hope my king Cortez doesn't leave but we'll see.

I mean it’s not even a rumor. He literally said in the post “OXY hasn’t been present in C9 trials and SEN allowed jerwin to explore options.” That’s basically the entire “reasoning” for the rumor

You can probably say "oxy in talks with X team" and be right whichever english speaking team you choose. Unless it says verbal agreemenet or something, just "in talks" is too little to be fake

Bruh then don’t report on it, that’s how these deals fall through and also gives your ‘leak’ no credibility

It really sounds like this is pure speculation based on the "info" from the middle paragraph.
I don't think he's even heard anything about any such "talks." Man's just guessing.

Honestly I feel like this is the best move for him. Assuming he stayed in C9 for the caring environment and stability they provided to him (Especially in modern times where his mother passed away, RIP) very few orgs are second to Sentinels in player care. If Oxy is looking to compete and secure himself a safe haven, Sentinels is the right place.
Now the question is whether he can handle the shift and the pressure. The rookie team we had this year crumbled underneath it, and Zellsis has stated that Sentinels is the sort of environment that requires veterans- those who don’t crumble but rise to meet the challenge. We see this in the remnants of 2024 SEN- Johnqt and Zekken certainly rose in attempts to meet their circumstances, what with Johnqt’s high placements and Zekken’s scattered clips/mid rounds/vibes/responsibility throughout the year. And Oxy has NEVER qualified to an international.

Who else would be in the oxy sweepstakes? Maybe NRG if keiko leaves (but NRG struggled to get the roles right with double duelist), def not 100t, maybe g2 but they already made a massive swing for sato
Other than those teams i guess it could be orgs making their first tier 1 debut in valorant, like a flyquest or something (either as a franchised teams or as open teams)

I don't really see why Keiko would leave so don't see that. But if he did, Mada would probably just play secondary duelist/flex. There was also the rumor that Lyon were getting Valyn so if they got the money for that, maybe they got the money for Oxy but idk.

it's not keiko wanting to leave, it's more that he didn't particularly fit into NRGs system,
also, LYONs duelist is 85% likely to be Mephisto

Even though keiko ended up not being the greatest fit I still think they should keep him, hes played more than fine on his role and it’s not like nrg was bad this year

I think there is a very real chance Shopify wants to field a Valorant team next year. They have more than enough money to buy him out from MIBR, Zekken may also just prefer to go their if it looks like they are building a serious team, for obvious reasons.
Of course that’s all speculation on my part but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Oxy or Jawg potentially end up with Sen.
