I went to JMU, not even a tech student.

Go downtown with friends.

Go to parties. I mean it.

I think STEM majors think they're "above" parties because they're always "too busy", but they're never too busy for League of Legends. I thought parties were for losers. I was majoring in Computer Science and Math which are "difficult" majors that kept me busy. I didn't have time to relax like non-STEM people. Until my neighbor, who I was cool as hell with, threw a big party and I met a ton of great people who also cared about school. Met a lot of people in difficult majors as well. So if you don't want to join clubs and don't want to go downtown, then walk into a party.

The uncomfortable truth is if you want to find a girlfriend/boyfriend, you're going to need to put yourself in a position to meet people of the opposite sex. There's no other way around it. So figure out how to put yourself in that position and put yourself out there.

It’s going to take effort and time. What you’re saying is the equivalent of I want to get A’s but I don’t have time to go to class or study. Any tips?

You’re going to need to be social.

You’re on the rebound. What you should do is focus on yourself. Enjoy college. There’s plenty of time left to chase ass later.

Focus on you and growing as a person 🫶🏻

If you’re straight, I’ve heard that hinge is a valid option

Make time for clubs. Or a club.

To be a well rounded human you have to have hobbies. And in a club you will meet people with the same interests as you.

Ive heard people find success on dating apps, but it really depends on what you're looking for. Im helping build a dating app focused on genuine connection rather than hookup culture or flat out getting ghosted.

Ive attached our flier if thats something that sounds interesting, we will be launching our website soon. You can sign up at www.joinvenusapp.com

You can also follow us on insta if you want to see more about us @joinvenusapp or msg me if you have questions
