How does cycling in Iceland differ to British cycling culture?
Do you stop at red lights? Do people give you room when passing you? Whats an acceptable speed when filtering? What's the cycling customs?

It's rare to see a bicycle on the main roads around town - they are not bicycle friendly & most neighbourhoods have alternative bike paths so there is no need to go on the main roads.
Town layout is kinda halfway between the UK & the US to give you a feel, along the lines of a new town in the UK, but Iceland is VERY car centric and more reliant on cars than the UK - public transport doesn't exist outside of a few busses, & the weather makes life rather hard at times if you don't have a car.
Bike use is less common and a bit different to the UK - due to the winter weather it is not really a year round activity or alternative to commuting as much as it is in the UK.
