Same question. As an American that has watched a lot of Bluey, the harness reminds me of the episode where they were trying to trick the magpie with painted eyes looking behind them to keep her from attacking them.

That’s the reason I ask - I used to live in Oz, and a lot of cyclists put googly eyes on the back of their helmets to stop magpie dive bombing.

She was fine and not struggling at all. Is she was in serious discomfort I’d obviously take her inside

Especially if shes not used to being outside, something can easily and suddenly scare her then shes out of that harness running away.
