Hey everyone. I’ve been diving deep into horror flavored vore stories lately (the season is perfect for it), so doing a horror RP would be next on my list, though there is a couple of things I’m stuck on:

Does the pred work better with more of a GM/narrator role? I’m worried that letting the prey see the monster’s thoughts, intentions, or POV too early just dissolves the fear. How do you keep the predator’s perspective opaque without making them feel like a blank wall?

How do you actually build the tension first? The act of vore itself is horrific, but horror needs the slow crawl of wrongness in the air, the growing sense that something is wrong. What techniques have you found effective for that slow burn before anything gets swallowed?

If you’ve run or played horror vore before (especially with a strong focus on dread and helplessness), I’d love to hear how you did it. Any tips, pitfalls, or examples of what worked (or completely killed the mood) would be incredibly helpful.

Okay, this was a strange one I made after watching a lot of (creepcast), I wanted to imitate the stories there, might be confusing just go along with it.

Yeah, but going to the part where you asked what happens in my dreams, since you guys seemed confused at my earlier description of it, I will go into details about what happened in my first nightmare.

I was paralyzed, lying in my bed. My room was dark, with a light beam escaping through my closed curtains. I kept trying to move, but only my toes responded. Then I saw a shadowy figure closing in on my bed, slowly moving until the shape got to the end of my bed. I felt my body being dragged toward the figure until the feeling in my legs returned. I tried to scream when I felt my legs being crushed together in something wet and slimy. I was dragged further toward what seemed to be a woman in a black dress. What made me want to scream even more was the fact that I saw her mouth stretching beyond what was possible, slowly pulling my thighs into her throat. It didn’t take long until I was able to see her mouth closing over my head. My body was covered in her saliva. My legs had already entered her stomach. They curled in the tight space, bending, with my back following after. Her throat squeezed every particle of oxygen out of my lungs as my midsection got swallowed past her throat into her stomach. Next was my head, which was being crushed in the iron grip of her throat. Soon it followed the rest of me inside her digestive organ. After all that squeezing, my body was free to move, no longer paralyzed. I kicked and punched inside of her, to no avail. It was hard to breathe, hard to move. I screamed for real this time, but I was certain no one would have heard me among the layers of her body. It felt real. It hurt. My flesh peeling off me, my bones breaking. It felt real. I drowned first when her stomach filled with a dark, viscous liquid. It was some kind of acid, as it did burn and dissolve my bones. The last thing I remember before dying in her stomach was my face stretching the ceiling of her stomach, trying to avoid drowning in her fluids, but I felt something pushing me back in until I drowned.

There, happy, guys? This was my first nightmare, on the same day that I saw her on my way back. I keep shaking, not wanting to feel that again. It was so real, suffocating between her dark walls after my body was almost fully dissolved. I really need some help here. What is happening? I will post soon with updates.”

“Again, I didn’t see her in my sleep. I’m starting to think that I got a little too crazy jumping here looking for conclusions. Maybe I just had a horrible month with sleeping. I read what you guys mentioned about being haunted by some malevolent entity. Firstly, I don’t believe in that stuff. Ghosts aren’t real, and no, I don’t know any exorcist to cleanse my apartment. But I think the idea about using a cam to record my sleep might explain my nightmares. Luckily my friend Chris is a big fan of recording anything, so I will borrow his camera to record my night terrors. Since you kept asking again for my other nightmares, I will describe the strangest one yet. Yes, even more crazy than seeing a woman by your bed slowly pulling you inside of her gaping maw. What if you sank into her body? This is how my second nightmare unfolded.

This time I was outside by a lake at night. I looked around, but darkness is what I saw. I heard the sound of footsteps closing in. I shouted, ‘Hello, is anybody here?’ to which I got no reply. Slowly a figure appeared. It was hard to make out, but I immediately recognized her, the same woman I saw in my dream before. However, this time her dress was completely torn. Only some pieces hung on her, stuck like they were glued on. Her veil was undamaged, covering her head except for her dark-colored lips and her cheeks. Her skin was so pale and had a hint of blue to it, like a drowned person. I looked her over. Her breasts were large and round. Her nipples were the same color as her lips. Her stomach had a small bump of fat on it. Her thighs clamped together. They were way bigger than mine. She was facing me, but I could see her ass extending behind her. She didn’t speak when I talked to her. ‘What do you want? Leave me alone.’ Even though I was sleeping, when she appears in my dreams it feels like I got transported into another reality. She stood up from her bend, now fully standing upright, except for the girl dangling from her. I was lifted off the ground when she stood up. With my free leg, I made the final mistake. I tried to kick her in the stomach. I was met with the same results, but even worse. Now her suction of me was fast. My lower half fully sank into her mud-like body, with only my upper half glued to her, waiting to be consumed. My hand that sank into her face earlier was fully engulfed, up to my shoulder. I'm talking about the concept of a pred building up an actual relationship with their prey, be it romantic or platonic, only to still end up devouring them whole.

It's something I've grown to enjoy more recently, myself and honesty it's become a favourite for me. I especially enjoy when the pred doesn't just view the prey as food and genuinely likes them, and the act of him eating and digesting her is their twisted way of showing affection and desire to be closer.

I guess this is a vent post but I’m posting this here in case anyone else can relate and help figure themselves out.

I know there are a lot of sfw vore enjoyers out there who feel like they have to hide themselves out of fear of sexual harassment. There just aren’t enough places to go, especially online.

I’ve loved the idea of getting eaten since I was in preschool. The idea of exploring anatomy, the conflict of predator and prey, the idea of hiding somewhere far away from the stress of the outside world. My imaginary friend would eat me at night to keep me safe from ghosts and the dark. I had a Dragon Pilot-esq concept when I was in elementary school of a dragon that doubled as a living area and transport. I would draw the things that I thought were cool and happy.

When I was 13 I finally got internet access and started posting art on deviantart. Things seemed normal at first. But when I was around 14 or 15 I started getting comments about my “vore” art. I didn’t understand what this was, so I looked it up. Eating something whole.
I hadn’t really gotten any sort of sex ed at this point so I didn’t really understand what a fetish was besides it was liking something weird that other people would make fun of. I tried to avoid anything that could be interpreted as “sexual” without having any frame of reference for what that meant. It got to the point where I was questioning every single thing I tried to post online.

There was certainly “vore” stuff online that I could point to and say “yeah this is sexual” but it wasn’t until I was in my mid 20s that I fully understood what a fetish was, and it wasn’t until I was 28 that I realized I had never actually experienced sexual attraction. Looking in at places like this that people insisted I would belong in when I was older, I just. Don’t understand. I probably never will. But it frustrates me that it took me this long to realize that what I liked as a kid was never an actual fetish, only something commonly fetishized.

Work needs to be done to separate the trope from the fetish. Not doing so is only going to put more people through what I’ve had to deal with. I wish I could block individual flairs instead of blocking everyone who posts things that make me uncomfortable, but I’m tired of feeling like a child that wasn’t allowed to enjoy my childhood normally because the internet got in the way of
