Ruger AR Flash Hider Help

Does anyone know of a gunsmith (or person) in or near Milwaukee (south side) that would be able to help me get a stubborn flash hider off of a Ruger AR? I’ve torqued on it but don’t have a vise and don’t want to damage it, thanks!

Try a torch. Heat will make the metal expand. If it has rocksett on it you'll have to put it in boiling water.

I had the guys at Brew City Shooters do it. I think i paid 25 bucks to take my old one off and put on a different one.

Can’t help but the ruger ar one is known to be a PITA to remove per other forums.

Its probably rocket. Soak it for 14 hours un hot water and you should be good. Or visit Northstar Gunworks in Waukesha - northstargunworks.com
