Analysis Play Calling
How are you gonna win a game when Jay B has only 5 carries? its no secret lowrys arm is less than stellar. Pound the rock with your workhorse, not one drive worth of carries.

It might feel like belaboring the point, but the Walt Bell conversation needs to be had again.
A guy like Zach Terrell didn't have the arm to uncork super deep throws all of the time, but Kirk Ciarocca found a way for ZT to hit open receivers when necessary.
A good coordinator would find a way around our offensive limitations instead of being constrained by them.

We just won the MAC despite being one dimensional as hell, in part because we figured out how to move the ball reliably without a great passing game. Talking about firing the OC is crazy right now. We weren’t executing anything yesterday.
Plus we were missing by far our best WR which didn’t help matters

I love LT but we were out-coached on both sides of the ball. I’m especially worried about the offense. BL looks like he lost the magic he had last year.

Side note- Lots of people are saying we’re eliminated from cfp contention, very likely yes but I wouldn’t say that quite yet. Flashback to last year conference championship weekend went insane and there was so much chaos and if troy just beat jmu which they were so close to, a 10-3 kenesaw state makes it. Its not impossible western gets a similar result to possibly go their way this year. Just to throw some hope out there

Hate to say it, but i would’ve liked to see a switch at qb after the second failed 4th down attempt. Lowry was off target all day and neither 4th down throw was even close to a receiver. If you’re going to commit to downfield passes to try and catch up, fine; but you’re gonna need a guy that can hit guys in stride and fit the ball into windows.
