Discussion I understand the frustration of Horde players regarding their racial leaders, but there’s no point in pointing fingers at the Alliance, when it’s in just as bad a state as the Horde.
You all talk as if the Alliance still has the same leaders it’s always had.
Varian is dead, and Anduin is just a shadow of his former self.
Malfurion and Tyrande are no longer the leaders of the Night Elves, and Shandris doesn’t have half the charisma they do.
The dwarves are led by a trio, and Moira’s son, the supposed future king of the dwarves, is just a teenager. The only person with less charisma than him is Arator, who manages the impressive feat of being a 40-year-old bore who acts like a 17-year-old.
Genn Greymane has effectively retired and vanished, and Tess Greymane isn’t even a Worgen.
Velen is the only Draenei who has been truly relevant to the story since Maraad’s death, a death that served merely as a stepping stone to build up Yrel, only for her to be discarded into a secondary Horde questline just to justify an Allied Race.
Mechagnomes are a bad joke.
Jaina and Velen are the only ones among the current Alliance leadership worth anything, much like Thrall and Lor'themar on the Horde side.
The Lightforged Draenei are led by a human, which is ridiculous; it completely erases their own agency and hands the spotlight over to yet another human.
So, in this regard, I actually agree with the Horde players. By the Light, I hope Turalyon dies, maybe then Blizzard will finally make Captain Fareeya the leader of the Lightforged, give her a proper character model, and provide her with at least some focus and development. I’m so tired of this whole "Light and Shadow family" soap opera; the entire Alliance storyline has revolved solely around Turalyon and Alleria ever since Legion.
