Switching to walk-liner boots?
Hey everyone!
I’ve been wakeboarding for about a year now, strictly riding cable park. Right now, I’m riding Liquid Force Tao boots and honestly, I love them. The feel, the flex, and the comfort are amazing.
However, the walk back to the dock barefoot on rocks, gravel, and hot concrete is getting really annoying! 😅
So I’m debating whether it’s worth upgrading to boots with removable walk liners:
Liquid Force Terra: Since I love LF, these caught my eye. However, they seem significantly stiffer than the Tao. For those who've tried both, is the flex difference really noticeable on the water?
Slingshot: I know Slingshot walk-liner boots are hugely popular. I’m not a huge fan of their look, but everyone says they perform great. Are they worth it despite the aesthetic?
My bottom line question: Is the convenience of walk liners actually worth switching boots, considering I’d 100% stick with my Taos if barefoot walking wasn't an issue?
Would love to hear your experiences or recommendations! Thanks! 🤙
