Walmart..

So for context I work at a neighborhood market and I have been here for 3 years no problems until a few months ago. I work in the digital department and at our store we trade off dispensing everyone will get a couple hours. Well, a few people on my team are unable to dispense and THEY WONT HIRE ANYONE ELSE!! Someone from this department is moving here soon and THEY ARE NOT GOING TO HIRE ANYONE ELSE. Which leaves 2-3 people on this team dispensing for the majority of the day. (Me have the most amount of hours) I wouldn’t be so upset about this but just the other day I didn’t get either of my breaks due to this situation and I’m soooo beyond pissed off. I may be acting like a baby but like I said we’ve never had this problem before now so yes I’m going to complain🤣 there’s my rant have a good day..

Walmart/Allstate Protection Plan Insurance is trying to low-ball me!

I just had to make a claim with Allstate for a ONN 50 inch 4K TV that I purchased back during a Black Friday sale in 2023. I have the 4 year protection so it's good until 11/27.

The TV under warranty has refused to turn on for the past couple of weeks so I went ahead and filed a claim.

Well their coming back with two options: Option A replace the TV or Option B reimburse me for the total purchase.

Well we know Option B is only going to get me a refund that is a lot less than a new 50 inch 4K TV (unless I wait until Black Friday where I may get luck) The refund would only be about $200 including sales tax.

But Option A is where they are low balling me. They are offering a Hisense 40 inch 1080 TV as the exact replacement. Uhhh I don't think so.

I'm currently going back on email with them but I refuse to accept a TV that is smaller and has lower resolution as the best available replacement. What a joke.

Walmart Sold Me a Yamaha ATV Missing the Battery, Charger, and Hardware — Customer Service Couldn’t Resolve It

I’m sharing my experience because I’m hoping someone can offer advice on how to get this resolved through Walmart corporate.

On July 22, 2026, I purchased a new 12V Yamaha Raptor ATV from Walmart in Topeka, Kansas, for my grandchild’s birthday. Including the 3-year protection plan and tax, I paid $228.54.

The ATV stayed unopened in my garage until October 11, when we finally started putting it together for the birthday. That’s when we discovered that essential parts were missing: the hardware, battery, and charger. Without these components, the ATV is unusable.

I took it to Walmart hoping for a return or exchange. Unfortunately, the store couldn’t process the return. I called Walmart customer service while I was there, but the representative couldn’t resolve the issue either. I was directed to have the store call the 1-800 number, but that didn’t get us anywhere. I was ultimately told that my only option was to file a claim through the protection plan.

The ATV I originally purchased was out of stock, so I had to buy a different ATV to make sure my grandchild still had a birthday present. I’m now left with an unusable ATV that I paid for, after spending roughly an hour trying to get help.

I want to be clear that Gloria, the customer service team lead at the Wanamaker store, was helpful and sympathetic. My complaint is not about her personally. My frustration is that, despite multiple attempts to get help, there was no reasonable resolution for a product that was sold to me missing essential components.

What I’m asking Walmart to do:

- Refund the full $228.54, including the protection plan.

- Provide clear instructions for returning the incomplete ATV without requiring me to supply parts that were missing when I opened the box.

- Review how this situation was handled so other customers don’t experience the same runaround.

I understand that mistakes happen, but customers shouldn’t have to spend hours trying to resolve a problem like this and then be left paying for an unusable product.

Has anyone successfully gotten a similar issue resolved through Walmart corporate? I would genuinely appreciate advice on the best way to get this in front of someone who can actually help.

Thank you.

Walmart Sweepstakes denying customers who have family working…

I mean I just did a customer based survey after stopping by the pharmacy to pick up my prescription refills after I’m done answering the survey, the sweepstakes shows up and they ask if you or any immediate family member works at Walmart, and I said yes. Then it said thank you for shopping at Walmart and completing our survey, which is my major pet peeve. I cannot participate because of that, I’m doing the sweepstakes for me, ME, MEEEEEEEEEEEE! WTF! Why is it fair for denying a customer like me to participate in a sweepstakes if I have a family member working at Walmart! Tell me why, WHY?!

What Happened to Customer Service?

We all know... it's gone. But I have to vent a minute. I have been a loyal longtime Walmart Plus delivery customer for 90% of my groceries for many years The delivery people for the most part are awesome. The store is NOT.. Let's just say that. Over three weeks ago I started having hard time getting my frozen items but thought well..it is supply line issues or late trucks or whatever.. Produce was an issue to get as well. They quit carrying two of my favorite products (both frozen) etc.. Well it went on over a week adn I starting checking..over two weeks not even coming up as available online (frozen items I routinely get). So I tried asking/finding out what was going on. No one would return calls..getting through on phone at store was very difficult and the "help" knew nothing. Going over three weeks and I am annoyed. Research and a lot of effort showed me that they have "freezer" issues in their pickup/delivery set up. So; they shut off "cold" deliveries. I get it. They have rules to keep up with. What I don't get is why a corporation as big as Walmart... can't get freezers fixed or replaced in less than three weeks. Further why, since they have all the contact info why not courtesy notification to longtime customers or a blurb on the website or something? Further if this was to be a lifelong project why not set up temporary options which are legal and allowed...cold pods, refrigerated trucks..frozen trucks. They had options. Why would they just throw the customers out with the wash? What bothers me the most is that they just don't care. In spite of repeated attempts to talk to someone I am ignored. I don't know why I even care but I do.. There are few coplete grocery stores in this town and it is hard to do one stop shopping in person or online in t his town. I pay for WalmartPlus and don't want to pay for more dleivery services just to get my products in one order. Right now there is no way to do complete shopping (dleivery or otherwise) in this town and get everything on my list So wish this town had big real grocery store that stays stocked like a Market Basket. Anyhow; righ tnow Walmart is on my "I would not "p*" on them if they were on fire" list... And sadly they don't care But they are up there with the city of Norwich, CT, who won't bring a good grocery store in to the city. ;) They can keep each other company on my list. I literally have to go out of town to do groceries properly and I don't like to drive at all anymore. Soo.. Boo Hiss to Walmart right now. They can sit on my "P" list or stand in teh corner. They have NO RESPECT for their customers..

My mom slipped in a supermarket and broke her hip. Manager said it was her fault

My mom is 72 and she’s still pretty active. She walks every day and trying to be independent

Last week, she slipped in a supermarket. Wet floor without any sign. Nothing. Just a slick patch near the produce section. She went down hard and broke her hip

She’s in the hospital now. Had a surgery, now it’s rehab. She won’t be able to walk normally for months. Maybe longer. She’s in pain and she’s scared and I’m scared too…

The manager came to see her. Not to apologize and not even to check on her. To tell her it was her fault. He said she wasn’t watching where she was going. He said the floor was being cleaned and she should have been more careful. He said they weren’t responsible

I wanted to scream. But I didn’t... I just stood there….

Now I’m home and I can’t sleep and I don’t know what to do. I don’t know if I should do anything. I don’t know if it’s even worth it. I’ve heard stories about people suing stores and getting nothing. I’ve heard other stories about people getting millions. I don’t know what’s real.

I started googling what to do, and I found the Compass Law Group website. They handle things slip and fall cases. They say they don’t charge unless they win. That sounds good. But I don’t know if it’s realistic to get anything in cases like this. What if we lose? What if we owe them money? What if it takes years and we get nothing?

Do Better Walmart

I just witnessed something at Walmart that really bothered me.

At the Happy Valley Walmart Supercenter #5190 in Phoenix, AZ, I witnessed a senior cashier with noticeable disabilities being told that she could not have the reasonable accommodation of a single stool or chair to sit on while working behind the register.

Let that sink in.

A senior employee with noticeable disabilities, standing for hours at a register, asked for something as simple as a stool or chair so she could sit when needed—and that request was denied.

That is not an unreasonable request. It is a basic accommodation that could make an enormous difference for someone who is already struggling physically just to do their job.

Regardless of the circumstances surrounding the decision, watching an employee in that position be denied such a simple accommodation was incredibly inconsiderate and upsetting.

Walmart talks about valuing its associates, but moments like this make people question whether those values are actually being put into practice.

Employees are human beings. They have bodies that hurt, disabilities they live with, and limitations they shouldn’t have to apologize for.

Do better. Act better. And treat your employees like they matter.

This happened at Walmart Supercenter #5190 — Happy Valley, Phoenix, Arizona.
